Prologue:

Are you afraid of the dark? Ninety out of a hundred of you will say yes. That tiny, four letter word strikes fear into most human beings. Fear is a natural instinct. It's your brain telling you to be alert, to protect yourself. Of those ninety, only five are truly afraid of the dark itself.
It's the fact that you don't know what's out there that scares most people. The darkness consumes all sight, which every person relies most on. From a child's "boogeyman" to an adult's stalker, anything could be out there.
However, the darkness is my ally. It hides me. Enshrouds me. Protects me.

There is one unfortunate soul who's fear is their demise. Who will not make it until the morning. Who's life will be ended by one. Ended by me. I am The Omega.
To chang myself; I'd rather die. This you can not understand. I will make the greatest sacrifice, you won't predict where the outcome lies -- You'll never take me alive!

1.

An elderly man was standing on a lakeshore, with his 7 year-old grandson. This was their first time fishing together, and he wanted it to be perfect. Only the best for his grandson.
He got a bite, and snagged the fish. Then he handed his pole to the child. "Reel," he said.
The child pulled and reeled, and the fish came up. "Yes," his young voice said, thinking he had accomplished something.
The old man smiled, unhooked the fish, and threw it back. "Nice job, kiddo," he said.

The phone rang. James Garver, a fairly tall man, was roughly 6'3". He had brown eyes, brown hair, and didn't stand out much. James woke up from his dream. His whole life was like this. A small good thing, then a world of pain and hatred.
He had almost died as a kid. His shirt got caught in a conveyor belt at his dad's workplace. He suffered a concussion in his head, and was hospitalized for three months.
Another ring. He knew who it was. Another assignment from his boss. "Yeah?" he said as he picked up the phone.
"Omega," the voice on the other line said. 'Omega' was a code word that meant a job of high priority. All calls from the boss were 'Omega calls'. It was also a way to secretly tell if it was the right person, via a second codeword.
He was expecting nothing less. "Window," he was the right one.
"I hope you're well rested. It's time," the man said.
He looked at the hotel room's digital clock. 3:16 a.m. It was next to a T.V. Guide, which was written in Arabic. "Good. I thought you finally developed a better sense of time.
It was mid day back in the Washington, DC. Richard Harris had not forgotten about the time change over there. He wanted it at night. A medium sized African-American. His gruff voice traveled through the phone wire, to an antenna, bounced off a satelite, and reached James' phone in Iraq. "Just get going,".

Please criticise. I need as many opinions as I can get.
