Chapter 3 Neo awoke. He looked around. He was in a room with water-like walls. He could see water under his bed, and a door in the water. He was obviously in a room that you’d have to dive down underwater to get too. He could hear a few voices coming from a window, and his name a few times. He decided to brush it off. He sat up, and checked the room. His weapons were nowhere in sight. “I’ll have to get them later,” he said to himself as he stretched. “I can finally relax, and live a good life,” he said to himself. He had finally slayed a dragon. He heard the door slam shut, and a Zora and Cain surfaced. “Good, you’re awake,” Cain said as he jumped out of the water onto the ground. The Zora got up also. “So, how are you feeling?” “I’m fine,” Neo replied. “Just a bit sore.” “I can see why. Facing a dragon single-handedly is by no means an easy task.” Cain said. “Oh. Yes. This is Dr. Yukitan, a Zora. He healed you.” Neo looked at Yukitan. “Thanks,” he said. “Nay, it is us who should be thanking you.” Yukitan said. “Eh?” “You saved a lot of bloodshed,” Cain said. “I think I woulda died, along with my comrades, and Yumi would have for sure died.” “Yumi . . . .” Neo said softly so that the others couldn’t hear. His mind flashed back to when he had first seen her. “What?” Cain asked. “Are you okay?” He waved his hand in front of Neo, who blinked. “Er . . . wha-? Sorry. I spaced out.” “Don’t worry about it.” Cain said. “Now, since you’re awake, the king would like to have a word with you.” “Alright,” Neo said. “But first, where are my weapons?” “The king has them,” Cain said as he jumped into the water. “I shall be seeing you both in the future,” Yukitan said as he dived into the water, and left the room. Neo dived in as well, and followed Cain. They left the room, and ascended, surfacing into what looked like a main office. It had different corridors leading to may different rooms and diving areas. “Where are we?” Neo asked. “The hospital,” Cain said. “You were beaten pretty badly, so we had to take you here.” Neo and Cain left the hospital, and began making their way to the king’s chamber. Neo saw many people; all of different ages, genders, and races. He also saw shops, restaurants, and houses. “What is Zora’s Domain used for?” he asked. “This is where all the slaves that were able to escape are,” Cain said. “I see.” Neo said. “The king wants to make a proposition to you,” Cain said. “He hopes you’ll accept.” “I’ll have to see what it is first.” Neo said as he continued to look around. As they approached, Neo’s eye caught Yumi in a group of people talking. “Isn’t that the girl I saved?” “Hmm? Oh, that’s Yumi. Yeah, you saved her from that dragon right before she was killed.” Cain said. “Why?” “Was she a slave too?” “Yep. Most Hylians, Gorons, and Kokiris here are slaves.” Yumi’s eyes looked around, and they met Neo’s. Their eyes locked for a second, then Yumi looked down, blushing lightly and smiling. Neo looked away. “Will I get my weapons back regardless if I accept this proposition or not?” “Probably,” Cain said. “Good,” Neo said. “Alright, we’re entering the king’s chamber now.” Neo and Cain entered the king’s chamber. Neo looked around in awe. Crystallized walls, sparkling water, and a long red colored carpet that was crystallized that led up to the throne. Neo and Cain both walked up to the king, and bowed. “You wished to talk to me?” Neo asked. “Yes,” King Zora said. “Neo, I am sure you know about the slavery in Hyrule?” “Yes, and I know that it has been this way ever since last year, when Ganon finally took over.” Neo said. “Smart boy,” the king said. “Now, I have a proposition to make. If I pay you whatever you desire, then you will go and free all the slaves.” Neo thought for a few seconds. “I will do as you wish,” he said. “For the sum of ten-thousand rupees.” “Ten-thousand?” The king asked, sounding surprised. He had expected a much higher sum. “Very well then. Cain, Kevin, and Kent shall go with you. They are experienced fighters.” “Thank you,” Neo said. “Your provisions have been stocked, and here are your weapons.” A Zora guard came forward, bearing the many weapons of Neo. Sword, shield, boomerang, bow and regular, fire, and ice arrows, longshot, megaton hammer, deku nut, deku stick, slingshot with seeds, and a staff. Neo took them, and put them all back to where they usually were before he fought the dragon. He then took the 4 bags of provisions, and gave 3 of them to Cain. “You take those to Kevin and Kent, and keep one for yourself.” “Got it,” Cain said as he exited the king’s chamber. Neo then put his provision bag on his belt. “We will leave first thing tomorrow,” he said. “Very well,” the king said. “Good luck Neo.” Neo bowed. “Thank you, your majesty.” He exited the king’s chamber, and saw Cain, Kevin, and Kent. “Alright, we’re leaving tomorrow at the crack of dawn. Sleep well. This isn’t going to be easy.” Neo said. The three nodded. “We’ll meet at the entrance.” Kevin said. “Alright,” Neo said. The four dispersed, going their separate ways. Kevin and Kent walked with each other, conversing. “Did you see it?” Kent asked. “Yes, I did.” Kevin said. “Could it really be?” “It could.” “Could he possess it?” “We’ll find out soon enough.” “I thought I saw the same thing on Yumi.” “Yumi? Now that you mention it, her jewel had that mark.” “So she also possesses it, but she does in magic.” “She might be able to wield light arrows.” “She uses a weapon?” “Yes. She’s an archer, although not a very good one.” “I see.” “We should be off to bed.” “Right, see you in the morning Kevin.” “Good night Kent.” Neo, Cain, Kevin, and Kent went to their rooms, and fell asleep. |

That was a good chapter but you have problem with haveing to many people talking in one pargraph. It does make it a little hard to read. |

Sorry. I'm used to reading books that do that, so I adopted that style. And in the last chapter, it was two people who were talking, just two. |

Chapter 4 Darkness. That’s all Neo could see. Nothing but eternal darkness. He was running, running away. He didn’t know what it was he was running from, but he knew that if he stopped, his life was no more. He continued running. He saw a huge symbol representing the Triforce, and his right hand glowed with that very same symbol. He saw Ganon in a beast form. It was what he was running from. He continued running. His legs were getting tired. He could run no longer. An image of an area with a blue column and many symbols representing elements. Then there was a flash of what appeared to be Yumi. She too had a Triforce symbol on her right hand. There was a jewel hanging by a chain around her neck. It was glowing as well. Then she disappeared just as fast as she appeared, and then there was darkness. “Take thy maiden, one who also possesses the markof descendants. One who has captivated thy heart. Go forth to the ancient place, guarded by sunlight, and blackened by darkness. Restore light, and the path thou wilt take shall open for thou. The holy shrine of ancient descendants.” A voice spoke in Neo’s head as he ran. He then fell, and he saw the image of Ganon over him. He thrust at Neo, stabbing him straight in the heart, and he screamed. Neo woke up, sweat dripping from him. He was breathing heavily. He looked around. “It was just a dream. But what did it mean.” He remembered the symbol on his right hand. It was there. “No,” he said, gasping. “What does this mean?! Do I-?” “Neo!” Cain said, entering his room. “Are you alright? You threw your sword through your door, and it almost hit me.” Neo took his sword back from Cain, and put it back in its scabbard. “Yeah, I just had a nightmare,” he said. “Alright. Let’s get going then.” “You go on ahead, I have one thing I must do.” Cain looked confused. “Alright,” he said as he headed for the entrance. Neo quietly walked over to Yumi’s room, and entered. He looked at her sleeping for a second, then gently lifted her right hand. The symbol was there. Neo walked back a few steps. “This can’t be! Do we really possess the mark?” He thought as Yumi woke up. When Yumi opened her eyes, she blushed as she saw Neo looking at her. “H-h-hi,” she said. She was so nervous that she stammered. “Hey,” Neo said. “Er . . . . . I have something to tell you.” Neo sat down on Yumi’s bed, and told her of his dream. Yumi looked at her right hand. “I . . . . . . . so I have to come with?” Neo nodded. “I’m sorry for dragging you into this, but I want to know why I had that dream. Even though my job is to free the slaves, I want to know.” Yumi nodded. “O . . . okay, I’ll come.” “Thanks,” Neo said. “Just come to the entrance when you’re ready.” Neo then left, and walked up to Kent, Kevin, and Cain. “Took ya long enough,” Cain said. “What the hell were you doing?!” Neo told them of his dream as well. “Lemme get this straight. You have the mark, and so does Yumi, and you both need to go to this ancient place that is guarded by sunlight and made dark by darkness.” Cain said. Neo nodded. “Alright then,” Kevin said. “We’ll let her come along. I’m interested as to why this dream occurred.” Kent sighed. “I get the feeling our original adventure will turn into a life or death struggle.” When Yumi came, she had her jewel around her neck. “Okay, I’m here.” She said. Kevin nodded. “Good. Now, Yumi, don’t do what you did with the dragon incident. Leave the fighting to us.” “But, I can use a bit of magic, and I can shoot arrows!” Yumi said. “It’s too dangerous,” Kent said. “Wait,” Neo said. “Let her fight. None of us know magic besides her, and I can teach her how to use a bow.” Kevin sighed. “Alright.” He said. “Let’s go!” Cain said. The group of five began walking, and once they reached Hyrule Field, they stopped to try and find out what the voice was saying. “An ancient place, which is guarded by sunlight, and blackened by darkness. I know of no such place,” Kent said. “Me neither,” Yumi said. “I think I know,” Kevin said. Cain looked at Kevin. “Then please, tell us.” “I think I have it too,” Neo said. “The Temple of Light.” “Exactly,” Kevin said. “The Temple of Light?” Kent asked. “Yes. When Ganon took over, the Temple of Light lost it’s light, and became an eerie black color. It’s still guarded by sunlight, however, and most dark beings cannot make it through even though it has lost its power. The sunlight is still too strong.” “That makes sense,” Cain said. “So, where is the Temple of Light?” Yumi asked. “It’s far into the Lost Woods.” Kevin said. “Then let’s get going. We may face a few monsters along the way to Kokiri Forest, and we may even bump into a slave camp.” Neo said. “That sounds like a good plan,” Cain said. As they headed for Kokiri Forest, they saw a massive building with walls surrounded all sides. “That must be a slave camp,” Neo said. “It is,” Yumi said. “Good, then let’s get in there!” Cain said. “Do not be so hasty,” Kevin said. “We should first figure out a plan to get inside.” “Right,” Kent said, “Let’s study the surroundings, and figure out the best way in. Mind you, we will have to fight no matter what, but we can at least try and take the safest one.” Neo had been studying the surroundings while the others had conversed. “Alright, I know how to get in,” he said. “Here’s the plan . . . .” |

Still good, still good...when are you going to post another chapter though? Also, good to see that you made the chatting bits a bit less blocky! |
