Sounds like neutral route is considered the cannon ending to IV then? Good that's the one I happened to get. It's funny, because supposedly it's the hardest one to land on but I got it be accident. |

Seems more like this is taking place from an unplayed alternate ending. If this followed Neutral, the firmament would be gone, but it's still there. Won't be able to say for sure until we get the game though. As for Hobbes: Far as i'm aware, that was a test boss battle against the new redesigned Medusa. A few of the new details I gleamed from watching were the presence of enemies and demons being able to use + versions of their spells and skills, not sure how that's done. I noticed Hama now deals damage, at least I want to say that was Hama that the MC used on Medusa under Smirk. And King Frost had some new spell I think they called King Bufula? So seems like some demons may have unique skills and spells to them that may not be transferrable. Also I noticed all demons now seemed to have a battle cry now when they attacked, but all in all, little details that're fun to know. Also seems Medusa mentions the SMTIV protagonist if you select the right battle comments, so this is clearly after he had a go through the place, but not sure how far and away it is. |

How can Fatlus charge that much for a digital only release that also lacks dual audio? :o SMT games require Japanese voice overs. The games are just too damn Japanese otherwise. Even if some of the dubs are mostly phenomenal, like Persona 3's. |

I can live with a dub, I think I used one for SMT4 anyway. I'll probably wait to pick this one up though, or I might Gamefly it like I did the other one. In fact I think SMT4 was my very last Gamefly game before I canceled the service. |

The launch edition of SMT IV: Apocalypse in NA will include pins representing Peace, Anarchy and the mark of Dagda, a god who resurrects the protagonist. http://gematsu.com/2016/04/shin-megami-tensei-iv-apocalypse-launch-edition-includes-metal-emblem-set I always hold out hope these LE's will include an artbook/OST disc like the Etrian Odyssey games have been doing, and I always get let down, haha. |
