After watching the first episodes, it's basically the love child of Ichiban Ushiro no Daimao (AKA Color wars) and Highschool DxD. Decided to pick it up since I heard that MC wasn't a little bitch like most shows now a days (Infinite Stratos, etc). Though he's not entirely Alpha like say the MC of that one Yusha show, but good enough. Kind of reminds me a bit of Maou from McDonalds the anime, but with a more healthy libido. Though nothing stupidly outragous like that MC from the penguine Anime. |

I didn't think they were going to go the demon king angle since the Crunchy description says the seven girls represent the seven sins that he needs to reel in. It might be fun but it started a bit lackluster for me. I find myself interested in seeing more of the grimoire than the other girls at the moment. |

Ep.4. Started weird, then finished where ep.3 left off. Haha. Anata's book always looked exactly like the Tomes of the Purple Sky and Night Sky, but I laughed even more that his mage outfit is basically a male version of Hayate/Dearche's. Complete with little vest thingy. Posted Image EDIT: Finished the episode. Arata's book can copy other peoples magic and rewrite it for his own use. Hahah, oh wow. It literally is the tomes of the Night/Purple Sky. |

Finished Ep.5. Sadly it ended on a cliff hanger and I'm gone from tomorrow till the 20th. =/ But at least it introduced new best girl. Overall this show may not be the biggest thing this season, but I'm greatly enjoying it just for the fun value of the various characters. I like how it's 5 episodes in, and not once has he ever denied or rejected Arin being his wife. Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Plus it helps that he's not a total beta like most of these types of characters like Tenchi, the main from Date-A-Live, or the loser from Infinite Stratos. Yet at the same time, not overly perverted like say the main from Highschool DxD. He sort of just goes with the flow, and if it happens, "screw it, let's see how far it'll go!" Spoiler: click to toggle He reminds me a LOT of Sadou from Satan's McDonalds Adventure. |

He's a pretty solid main, and a good showing of why I enjoy Kirito's seiyuu quite a bit. |
