Sony revealed their conference for June 9th as well. Though unlike usual, they're not having theirs until 6pm.

Eh? Sony's conference was at 6PM PST for 2013 and 2012, too. Some googling shows the 2011 conference was at 5PM PST. 2010 was the last time they were close to the morning, as the show was at 12PM PST.

I wish they'd move it back up again. =(

It's cute how they act like E3 conferences are exciting. Haven't been for 3+ years.

Geez, they're screening it in theatres?

This better be good. I doubt there will be an opportunity to do another burn like they did last year.

If they're going this far, there probably will be something big going down to put another nail in the Xbones coffin. At least in their minds.

Last year they got the formula right. games, games, and more games with the occasional trolling of epic proportions.

She has came out and stated that Majora's Mask is her favorite Zelda game if that means anything.

While guaranteed I will buy Lego Batman 3, why not just turn it into Lego DC? You already have Lego Marvel.

Deep down, I want EA UFC to be good as it is their first shot on the franchise in awhile. But I know the problem is that even if it is, every iteration every year after will be the same game over and over again.

I'm really hoping that Sherlock Holmes game turns out to be good.

As for surprises, i'm hoping Retro Studios unveils whatever it is they have been working on.

Lego Batman has become an established franchise. Plus with all the recent movies and attention to the name Batman floating around, it's best to just continue the Batman line then going into a full blown DC.

So far not expecting much at E3 this year. My main console right now is basically the Vita, and that will most likely get 0 attention. Same with PS3. All the major titles for so far have been western titles, and they've all failed hard. Watchdoge was their big title, and look how that ended up. Barely playable at some points, clunky, like it was rushed out to make a deadline.

I'm just going to have to wait a few months for TGS where it gets good.

MAYBE E3 might be worth while if they announce the release date for X.

B-But Lego Batman 2 was called "Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes"!

As for X's release date, I have a sneaking suspicion it's going to be February or March of next year. How wonderful: i'm going to have to somehow juggle The Phantom Pain, X, and The Order 1886 at once. Why must the blockbuster gamechangers all come out at once?

But Batman himself is a DC super heroes! Plus they kept Batman as the main focus.

As to X, we're probably going to have to wait for the Japanese release before they announce a NA one. If it's heavy on online, they'd need to figure that all out, work out the kinds, and then start the western version with all the bugs out of the way. And MonolithSoft doesn't really have much experience with online games to boot.

Monolith Soft did a bunch of hiring last year and early this year and one of the things they were hiring for was Network Programmer. It's still scheduled for a 2014 NA release brah.

Not that I'll be able to play it for a year or more than that though, since it'll be a while before I can get a WiiU. It'll be some time after I get a PS4, which wont be until next year.

Building off of what I said earlier, I really hope Retro surprises us by unveiling whatever they've been working on since the beginning of this year. We know it's not Donkey Kong or Metroid related (unless they've been lying to us).

My personal theory is theory is that Retro wants to make at least 1 of every first party Nintendo game and make one of the best iterations of said IP at the same time. They already made three of the best Metroid games and the best Donkey Kong game, so why stop there?

So what it'll it be? Retro Studios F-Zero? Retro Studios Star Fox? Retro Studios Advance Wars?

Making an F-Zero that's better than GX is a pretty tall order.

So I've heard. GX's creator even said the reason he never made one for the Wii was because he didn't know how to make a better game.
