WiiU seems to have suddenly found a way to unload a lot of content for their console. There's just a lot coming now, it makes me want one for the first time. I'm at least hoping I can afford one before Xenoblade X hits next year.

Have Wii games landed on the virtual console by chance? I'll never get to play Xenoblade itself unless it does. ;_; Or I get a good enough computer to just emulate it. |

No Wii games on the VC, I'm sorry to say. Gamestop supposedly got another batch in stock. $50, but I dunno if it's the same on the island. |

Yeah. Gamestop reprinted Xenoblade and Metroid Prime Trilogy, IIRC |

Having sporadic stages in Star Fox based around Project Guard's concept would be pretty awesome. Star Fox 2 did originate as a strategy game and Star Fox Command has many of those strategic elements, so maybe something like this could come into play as part of a new Star Fox. Perhaps for certain stages, rather than just controlling Fox, you're in control of the entire Star Fox team and can switch on the fly with characters chiming in to tell you where the majority of the action is going to take place next. Or when the action gets heavy for multiple characters, it turns into a frantic switching between crafts to shoot everything down. It would also be interesting to control the Arwing, Landmaster, Blue Maring, someone on foot, and even the Great Fox all at once and having to switch between them for whoever is strategically advantageous at the moment. Done right, it could be a pretty exciting concept. Done wrong and it could be a mess. But pulling it off could lead to some real heart pounding missions. Also, someone noted that when they showed the trailer for Indiana Toad, it opens up with Toad saying, "Here ya' go!" rather than the iconic Mario phrase, "Here we go!" Most people are concluding that this may be Nintendo responding to the demand that the Captain Toad segments be made into a full game. Edited by RPGZero, Jun 14 2014, 03:18 PM.

I ended up finding a video about Alien: Isolation which wasn't hyped all that much by most people (for good reasons). It's really nice to hear that it looks much more like the Alien game we deserve as opposed to the last game. I'm looking forward to attempting to out-stealth the alien. I really like that there is no permanent solution to dealing with the alien. You can temporarily injure it or scare it off, but there is no killing it. It's relieving to know that Sega is working on something worthwhile. |

I like how while there are Guns in the game, they can't kill the Alien, only deter it and even then it doesn't. |
