Not just devilry, European devilry! @BadBoiu: I'll experiment with the Sports Bike tonight if I get a chance. I know it's possible because there are a lot of players who play with the cruiserweights online with the inside drifting bikes and they're more often than not pretty good. Also, I laugh at the fact that people are getting angry that Rosalina has become so popular. It's even boiled down to a few individuals adamantly targeting anyone who uses Rosalina. http://i.imgur.com/PAOuB8v.png http://media.tumblr.com/aef56d4ce60effcdd439a19b73d91c0c/tumblr_inline_n6jrj6davG1rc70vh.jpg http://www.nerfnow.com/comic/image/1185 |

It's just those sharp and long turns that cannot be done effectively or even at all. I've tried to look it up and actually found that I'm not the only one with this issue. Many people are trying to figure out how to make those turns on the inside-drift bikes because it seemingly can't be done. My brother thought I was just fucking around or being bad until he tried it and couldn't do it either. Those bikes are great otherwise but it looks like this to me. Sport Bikes = Great at short and quick turns, garbage on long sharp turns Standard Bikes = Pretty good on short and quick turns and also pretty good on long and sharp turns I'd rather take the bike that can hit all turns well over the bike that can hit one type of turn amazingly well but not the others without Lakitu support. Sport Bike drifts inside early and before pulling outside Standard drifts outside before cutting sharply inside I can cut just as sharply as a Sport Bike does on most all turns anyways if you just start the drift early or approach inside, that way it mitigates you getting pulled outside at the start of your drift. I've been playing with it last night and I was cutting corners, all corners just as sharply as any Sport Bike. By drifting early I can also get orange sparks a lot more often covering the same distance as a Sport Bike would. At this point I just don't see a point to using Sport Bikes with the cruiserweights. |

I can hit the turns a lot more consistently with Sports Bikes now. The thing is that you have to accept that they suck at the turns and will not turn them sharply no matter what you do. You basically need to not blow your inside-drift load too early by starting the drift as normal but trying your damnedest to stay fairly middle-outside of the turn before pulling inside halfway through the turn or later. It's a big balancing act with pushing mostly outwards of the turn on the joystick to try and stay middle to outside for most of the turn without falling off. The things cannot turn for shit here but I can at least not fall off now. Edit: Nevermind it's still impossible or next to impossible once you have 10 coins under your belt. The first 2 turns with 10 coins is a death sentence. Edited by BadBoiu, Jun 5 2014, 10:21 AM.

As much as I like the original Ridin' Dirty Luigi vid I posted on the last page (the most popular one), the one you posted with him riding the Prancer is the absolute best. I don't see NOJ capitalizing on this, but this is totally something that NOA would jump on and possibly even being the ones to prompt NOJ to maybe do something further. I'm hoping Reggie's body is ready and he pulls through for us at E3 with at least a few references. |

The original one just got lucky that it got that many views since it came earlier. It was pretty bad quality camcorder footage. But this new one is entirely card captured+as you said, that glorious Prancer makes it solid gold. The Twirl only adds to it. EDIT: Edited by Ovan, Jun 5 2014, 01:51 PM.

Apparently jumping through a ring of fire off a boost through the air while bomb-omb explosions are going off behind you was too awesome for this game to handle and it froze on us for the first time. A big ass red screen of death as my brother and I just slowly look at each other laughing. |

If glitches are the measure of how awesome a system is, then surely many of the AAA titles I have played in the past three years must be "awesome". That also must make Ubisoft the most "awesome" developer around! |

Hey in the case of Black Flag, its glitches were freaking awesome and if they were patched, I hope the worst befalls on Ubisoft and everything their name is attached to. |

One of the guys I was talking to about Sports Bikes not being able to handle Rainbow Road finally figured out how to make those turns. It's going to sound insane but you need to *gasp* brake. I can't believe you actually need to do that in a Mario Kart game but I tried it and it works. If you lightly tap it once or twice during those crazy turns you'll angle yourself back inside and keep your sparks/drift going while only losing a little bit of speed. Unbelievable but at least Sport Bikes are back on the menu so I can try and get them some use again after getting used to the Standard Bikes. Actually I've been using the Karts to some great success recently. They're way faster than bikes are and turn similar to the Standard Bikes so if you can use the Karts effectively then I think you can do very well for yourself. I believe most of the WR Time Trials are set with the Karts. The only thing I haven't used much of are the ATVs yet. I'm just getting the last of the stamps now before I head online. 1st or 2nd nearly every race even against the Japanese. Half of them aren't even good, the other half just get lucky enough to break away from the pack early which is the key to victory. Most of mine come the same way in that you just need to get a good start and then get lucky enough to get a shield item to break away. You hog all the coins and no one can do anything about it and even a blue shell fails to make a difference half the time. I will say that almost every single Japanese player I've gone against has used Rosalina though. I've been using DK online for his silly Jojos-esqe poses and I love it when people pick DK Jungle because I can't help but come in 1st every time on that course. King of this jungle. |

Finally beat all of the staff ghosts in the time trials. Bowser's Castle and Bone Dry Dunes were the most difficult, but I ended up appreciating those tracks more and more because of how much they pushed my limits. |

I find myself playing as Luigi now just to look at the highlight reel. It gets even funnier when you have it in slow motion and the distorted music sounds so menacing. XD |
