Amuro: A remaster of Arkham Asylum/City would be mighty fine, actually. I'd love for that rumor to be true.

If it does turn out to be, I hope Origins is revealed to be in there as well. I'm well aware that it's not a part of Rocksteady's official trilogy, but I'd love to get that game in complete form. It never got a GotY Edition like the others did.

looks good...only a couple question...

1. Why is nightwing's ear exposed?

and am I the only one that thinks Robin looks like the robin from Batman and Robin?

Really funny promo. You'll definitely recognize some of the "insiders".

So, the trophies/achievements for the DLC are out, and there seems to be a spoiler for one of them:

Demonstration of Predator gameplay. It's a lot more aggressive, with a hacking tool that lets you trigger environmental traps among other things. On the other hand, enemies will start learning from your tactics, especially the Arkham Knight; if you do a lot of stealth takedowns, he'll warn his men to buddy up and go back-to-back, while if you do a lot of inverted takedowns they'll mine the gargoyles.

They've also finally found a way to punish players who spend the whole game in Detective Vision: select enemies can detect you if it's active and will use it to track you down. Conversely, you can use this to deliberately lure them into traps.

It's so tough to avoid spoilers, but I must hold out. It's only a few days until release!

I like the new balancing concepts. However, I wonder if they've dealt with the sheer brokenness of using the grappling gun on an elevated area. You could clear out much of a map in 10 seconds by pulling everyone over the railings.

They found a way to balance Detective Mode? Fantastic.

The games are beautiful, but DM is so easy and tempting that it's hard to keep it off sometimes. Or maybe I'm just weak.

I would have liked to hear about the Red Hood DLC by now, but I suppose they don't want to give it away. Good on them for only showing the first few hours and giving the fans enough to keep us interested without going full blast and blowing the load.

Apparently the Collector's edition is being cancelled due to issues with the statue it comes with.

So I guess a fully transformable statue of the Batmobile was a little much to work out.

In better news, the Season Pass has been confirmed to include all the pre-order exclusive content after its exclusivity window expires in August or September.

Much sighs, I actually managed to snag 1 of the only 3 Collectors Editions in Hong Kong. Now canceled so I'm left with store credit I don't even get to use for a long while because I buy my games digitally, and a skin pack I don't even want because I can just get the inevitably superior PC version.

The statue looked really cool, so that's unfortunate.

I wonder what Rocksteady is going to do after this is done. They practically dedicated 10 years of their life doing this.

I played for a few hours.

Wow . . . I've got a lot to say because there's just so much in this game. They really went a long way to making the game familiar, yet make it feel like a brand new, fresh title at the same time. I feel like I have to learn a brand new game. There are moments where i'm wondering how certain old mechanics don't work anymore only to find they've been replaced or upgraded by new mechanics. The game throws new stuff at you to use every few minutes and it's almost dizzying. Granted, the bad part about that is that the Batman games have never been excellent at conveyance, so it makes the learning curve harder than it should be, but that'll be gotten over soon enough. What matters is that where Arkham Asylum and City felt like Batman simulators, Arkham Knight feels like a Batman simulator after Lucius upgraded everything and Batman was struck by lightning and bitten by a snake to allow him to learn secret kung fu techniques no other man can learn.

Screw the camera, though. Please patch, Rocksteady.

Played a couple of hours on PS4 at the game store I hang out at. HOLY SHIT THE STUTTERING. If you haven't picked it up yet, WAIT. The 3.5gb patch was already applied when I started, and it stutters so badly it was literally unplayable for ~30 min into the game on the PS4. It became better around the time you first meet Arkham Knight in a vehicle, with only the occasional stutter here and there from then on.

It runs like absolute shite on PC too. I haven't started my own game at home yet, but I did try a couple of minutes on a demo PC with i7/980 - the game was at the part where you first get the winch for the Batmobile. Stuttering CONSTANTLY, capped at 30 FPS, the works. It was fucking ridiculous. I have no idea how the game runs on the Xbone yet, but I'd strongly advise everyone against picking up the game until this is patched.

I'm not experiencing stutter myself (though I acknowledge that others are), but I am experiencing the game only being a stable 30 fps when everything is standing still but then dropping to a stable 25 fps when I start moving.

Strangely enough, the Batmobile is the one part of the game that seems to constantly move at a stable 30.

I also didn't expect the Arkham Knight to be so bitter. He's almost a bit childish at times.

but super bitter for some reason. He just goes off on a temper tantrum for no reason and keeps mewling on about how "I KNOW YOU SO I KNOW HOW TO BEAT YOU!!!"

Watching the Harley Quinn DLC. This moment made me laugh out loud.

Harley: It's like Joker always said, "If it ain't complicated, it ain't fun!"
Penguin: Right, well...I don't even know how to respond to that.

I really like how for Predator encounters against Arkham Knight's soldiers, speed is emphasized and tardiness is punished as each soldier can be woken up from being knocked out up to three times.

Also, unless the game is deliberately attempting to fool me, I have a pretty good idea who the Arkham Knight is.

On a different note, the game's use of The Killing Joke as an important part of its lore is brilliant.

It's been confirmed that apparently the reason the game is such shit and garbage on the PC, is because Rocksteady actually outsourced the game to some other company. They only handled the PS4 version which is the true/original version and PC being the bad(er) port.

AAA developers not caring about the PC version?

The sky is blue and blood is red.
