Child of Light focuses on a young princess named Aurora who is whisked away to the kingdom of Lemuria, only to find its inhabitants turned into crows. The girl, along with her mystical blue orb companion, called Igniculus , must discover what has taken the land down a strange path.

The game, freshly revealed by Ubisoft, makes use of the Rayman Origins/Legends "Ubi Art" framework engine and it shows.

Yeah, it looks great. And on a related note, there's also another amazing Rayman-powered Ubisoft 2D title in the works that's worth checking out. Valiant Hearts: The Great War is being set up as a WWI puzzle-platformer that tries to juxtapose its serious themes with a whimsical art style. Set from 1914 through 1918, it follows five characters from various nations as a dog crosses each of their paths and helps them on its way. Setting it up like you did:

Between the two of them, I'm really excited. Ubisoft seems on a big 2D kick right now and thus far the results have been gorgeous. It makes sense from a business standpoint I suppose; these titles probably don't require the same amount of resources as their AAA games. Still, we're getting some pretty amazing looking, inventive titles out of the mix, and Ubisoft just continues to prove it's the big name with the most willingness to take risks.

I'll import, punless it's an empty box with DLC codes. I've been playing it on PS4 and it's good fun. Great visuals and music.
