I severly doubt he'd be included, but I can imagine his Final Smash now. "My body is Reggie", and its just him in the stage background laughing as he stands there with a 3DS and its just spewing out Mario/Play coins out onto the stage damaging all it hits. |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SiRYgWFdKgo The one at 1:03 gave me a good laugh. I'm also surprised they're going for the TP look for Link and Zelda. I would have loved it if they had SS Zelda and had it so that should could somehow become Hylia. |

TP Zelda is really the only game where they REALLY tried to do the game in a realistic art style. So Out of all of them TP Zelda just looks the best in full HD glory. |

Because realism really matters in a game that has a giant monkey, a pink puffball, and a fox that walks on hind legs. Regardless, I disagree with the concept that a more realistic art style looks best in HD. Quite frankly, the more realistic can sometimes make a game look ridiculously generic with no sense of style at all. It's pretty much why I just can't seem to get into the Watchdogs craze. Does it look super realistic? Yes. But its "realism" gives it such a lack of aesthetic value that it bores me to look at it. But to each his own, I suppose. The real reason I am surprised, however, is that as Smash games go on, they typically adapt the look and/or moveset of their last game to come out. Anyhow, i'm sure they'll change his moveset to reflect Skyward Sword at least, such as adding Skyward Strike as a move. Edited by RPGZero, Dec 27 2013, 04:42 AM.

Twilight Princess, with its realism, was always dripping so much style it was puddling up down on the floor. Realistic or not, it was absolutely gorgeous. |

That i'll agree with (even though I have yet to complete the game). Aonuma says he wants every Zelda game to have its own distinct style. So yes, realistic or not, its Nintendo's heavy stylization that truly makes it (or any Zelda game for that matter) worth playing. It also has some of the strangest, surreal scenes in all of the Zelda franchise which is a bonus in my book. As a film graduate, I notice that video games are beginning to go down the road of films. You have games that are trying hard to be so graphically impressive and thus are trying hard to look as realistic as possible, but honestly have terrible cinematography and no style or the style is a kind of generic Hollywood style. Other games, however, may not have the most realistic graphics, but have great cinematography and style. Of course, the two are not mutually exclusive as I think we are trying to make the point that TP has both realism and style, but in my last post I was merely pointing it there's a kind of gap that's really showing in video games these days in which the concept that "realism" is always better has become a dominant fallacy on one side of the debate. Realism alone is never a good reason to choose something - especially in a Nintendo game. On an entirely other note, I like how Rosalina was included as a secret character in Super Mario 3D World and was given Mario's abilities from Mario Galaxy in order to prepare her for Smash Bros. On an interesting note, some people are theorizing that Zelda Wii U will be a direct sequel to Twilight Princess precisely because of Smash U. Smash games tend to take from the most recent incarnations of their characters. It was also interesting that before Rosalina was announced as a character, they had her as a secret character in Mario 3D World with Mario's abilities from the Galaxy games. Thus, they made a precursor to Rosalina using those abilities in Smash. With that in mind, perhaps the return of the Twilight Princess character designs means that Zelda Wii U will be a direct sequel or like ALBW or ST will take place a few generations removed from said events. |

A one shot character from one game like Krom should never be in. Also his name sounds dumb!!! MAYBE reversetrap from the future. |

A couple. - There's nothing Chrom would add to Smash that would differentiate him significantly from Marth or Ike. - The Avatar is a customizable character with a largely variety of classes, and I don't think he'd work in Smash. - I don't like Chrom or the Avatar, so I'd be satisfied not seeing them get in. Especially the former, who a lot of people think is a shoe-in. I'm not advocating that Lucina should get in either, since there's nothing she'd add for the same reasons as Chrom. That said, if Lucina got in over Chrom then I would be okay with that. The tears from haters would be delicious, and I could use a good laugh. I think Awakening is a decent game, and I had fun with it. But I don't like the kind of fanbase it spawned, particularly those who love waifus. |

Maybe they can put in the Avatar as a replacement for the Pokemon Trainer, and he can attack with his waifus instead of using any skills himself. |

I have a feeling that Ashley is going to be one of the more annoying Assist Trophies in the game. Meaning everyone WILL learn her name very quickly. |
