So, after a little ribbing from Liger last night, I picked up Minecraft. "A few minutes" later, I realized I'd been playing for a good 5 hours. And this was after wasting over two hours exploring and having a blast with Liger, exploring some tunnels he'd found. So... best game of 2012 on the Xbox at the moment. So, Guilders! We must mine things and craft them into awesome on the Xbox 360! Currently, I've got this great beach house. Made of cobblestone, it's currently three stories high with a few rooms off to the side and a rather nice pool as well... which turns into a waterfall off the second floor into the ocean, because fuck it why not. There's still quite a bit of work to be done, as it's nowhere near as tall as I want it to be... ...but luckily, I've got this great strip mine operation going right now. And it doesn't hurt that I've found a massive series of caves running right next to where I chose to build my damned house. Like, within 20 squares. As of right now, I even have a diamond pickaxe... although it's not that useful outside of armor or swords. |

I was thinking about getting MC for the PC. First thing I'd build would be the Gokai Galleon. Thought about doing the Archangel, but it's pretty damn big. |

Still pretty big. The Enterprise-D is 642.5 meters, while the Archangel is 420 even. |

But the thing about the enterprise is that they were actually building it entirely, including the inside of the ship |

My main reference was the in-game map from that GBA visual novel-style game, but I was going to use lineart and screencaps from the HD remaster to fill in the gaps. |

Tuesday. It's not as expansive, or as up-to-date as the PC version, but fuck it. It's still awesome. |

I bought it too. Just because I could, I made a cobblestone castle floating in the sky. It's only 2 stories high with a tower. I wanted to make a moat full of lava but I first need to know how to make unlimited lava to fill the moat. I've kept it on Peaceful so I don't have to deal with the mobs. I also started exploring some caves. I found a vast cave network that I got lost in. Not just lost but lost and stuck. I could not for the life of me find how I entered the areas I was stuck in, I just kept going around in circles. I finally said screw it and just started tunneling upward to get out. I wish I had a Iron Pick with me at the time because I thought I saw some Diamond Ore while I was running around trying to find an exit. I'm not going that deep again for a while. -- Try your best to plan out how big you want the base of the castle to be and give yourself a few more blocks of room. It's better to make the base too big than not big enough. I made it too small at first and it was a bitch to change. -- I started my castle on top of a high plateau and I'm mining out everything underneath. Probably more time consuming than just straight building it in the sky if you have enough cobblestone but it works well enough. I also built some floating dirt stairs the same way. |

Sadly, my plans for the Gokai Galleon got kind of messed up because the CG model doesn't match up at all with the official specs, so I'm just going to have to BS it. |

GZG joined my game last night and was probably bored to tears because I was just starting to explore one of the new worlds I generated playing around with seeds. My castle is going to get revamped eventually but i wanted to work on a few other worlds before doing that. If anyone wants a world with a shit-ton of sand and ocean, use the seed "NurikoBaka" on the current 360 version. It's like a giant desert world with some spots of vegetation and trees. Even has some sand mountains. Edited by NurikoBaka, May 25 2012, 11:57 AM.

I've had Minecraft on the PC, I'd like it if the they could add connectivity between the PC and 360 versions of the game when they're both up to date. |

Uh sorry, that wasn't me. That was my friend's 5 year old son :$ . Hes become quite the minecraft addict. Unfortuantely, he has yet to master actually playing with a purpose in minecraft. Most of the time he's just fucking around, doing stuff that amuses him. |

You were acting quite strange so I wasn't sure if you were thinking of some way to grief me or if you were being distracted by something. Makes sense that it wasn't you. BTW, if anyone is to grief me, just make sure it's funny and not very destructive. I enjoy a good joke. Not gonna happen. Unless the PC version can be "dumbed down" to match the limitations the 360 version inherently has. Would be pretty awesome if it did happen. Edited by NurikoBaka, May 26 2012, 08:01 AM.

I seriously doubt they'll add connectivity between the two versions, still it would be pretty bawler. |

Bump sort of... Pistons are fun. I'm learning Redstone circuits just to have fun with pistons and sticky pistons. I already had some ideas... ...that other people have already done and put on Youtube. But I'll still use them and suit them for my needs. Just built a Slime Farm (just for slimeballs to make sticky pistons) and a Mob Grinder. Man, these things take forever to build. The Slime Farm took my entire day off to build but it'll be worth it when I build my Piston ideas. Right now I'm going to build a secret hidden room as well an easier to find "secret" room just for shits and giggles. I should also build a TNT cannon. And decorate my castle. |

I was fooling around building my "dream house" since the new update means I'll have to start from scratch. Had a little difficulty getting the secret door setup I really wanted. Tho for the hell of it, I was thinking about devising an Adventure Map inspired by Quest for Glory. |

I might start up a new world after the next 360 update but I'm not getting rid of my original random seed world. It's just too damn cool. It has some surface Iron and Coal in the far north I think but it does have surface Iron somewhere. The middle has a large section of trees, pumpkins, a small but nice flat area right above a massive cave system (that was ridiculously large to me when I first discovered it) that at bedrock in the western area (I think) is right next to 3 slime chunks. You have to dig out the slime chunks but it has a bunch of resources and is close to the end of a large bedrock lava pool that the massive cave is a part of. The massive cave system doesn't have an entrance I remember nearby the flat area but you can dig up out of it and come up right in the middle of the flat area in the right spots. So in short, I like my original randomly generated world. |

Well, I kind of have to because some of the changes (like desert villages) won't be retroactively applied to my old map. |
