Finally watched that trailer, and I recognize Athena Cykes seiyuu, but I cannot place her name.

Just finished Chapter 1, thanks to being bored at work.

So far... SO MUCH ANIMU. Did Level 5 co-dev this or what? I don't really mind that much per se, but eh. Naruhodo's voice acting has become a lot stronger, and the voices now really ring out. The emotion system seems gimmicky, although probably not quite as gimmicky as Psycho Gundam Locks were. Music isn't as rousing as the Pursuit themes from 1-3 were, although that's probably the price you pay for orchestrated pieces instead. They're beautiful, but I still prefer (specifically) 3's Pursuit theme, in all its 16 bit goodness.

Psyche Locks are in the game, one of the trailers confirmed it, also how big is the game? Cause I might need to get a new SD card for my 3DS depending on how big it is. Also I can't believe that Orchestral Music is not rousing at all, but then again, I love me some Orchestral OSTs.

Gyakuten Kenji 2 had an awesome orchestrated Pursuit theme, I just didn't find 5's that rousing :/

Not sure how big, I bought the physical game.

...Oh right, the digital release is only in the US market since we're not big enough to warranty a physical release.

Damn you ZHRGG!

Why you no PS3 anymore Hobbes?

We never did our RE5 shenanigans, Borderlands Shenanigans, or any sort of shenanigans in general. ;_;

Cool beans.

With Pokemon X coming out the same month, my 3DS is certainly going to be busy.

I've been overly busy with every thing lately. I am still up for some RE5 action, though. Borderlands will happen as well. I just need time...

Dual Destinies demo out today in North America, BTW.

I'm a bit tight for cash and I'm already obligated to Pokemon Y.

I'm on the fifth and final case.

It's been good so far. Second case was the weakest.

Can you share what happens regarding the cases? And any cameos?

over 4000 blocks. Been playing it, liking it so far. They really managed to nail the aesthetic transition to 3D.

Could you be more specific as to what you what to know about the cases? I can give a basic outline of each and which lawyer you play as in each one.

Case 1 (Chronologically, in-between Part 1 and 2 of Case 4, Third case?) - Phoenix, courtroom bombing, Athena's friend is accused, victim is a detective

Case 2 (First case, chronologically) - Apollo, defending a mayor, victim is an alderman

Case 3 (Second case) - Athena, defending her friend (her first time as the defendant), victim is a school professor

Case 4 (Fourth case) - Apollo (first part), Phoenix (the rest), defending an astronaut, victim was a fellow astronaut

Case 5 (Final case) - Phoenix, deals with the case from Case 4 and a flashback case

Don't want to go into too much detail on the fourth and fifth cases. Too much stuff happens.

And as for cameos, there's Pearl, Gavin, Trucy and Edgeworth. One more in the form of a letter, but I won't say who.

This should suffice, thanks.

The last cameo is making me curious but I think I have a hunch who it might be. >_>

So, in a surprise to myself, a friend got me an early birthday gift by a month, a 35 Dollar Prepaid card for the Eshop so I could pick this up. I was not expecting it, so now I am enjoying the first case and I have to say the music and the 3D models are well done. I am approving.

Now powered by dead souls and courage.

I got this game over the last weekend and solved it. I rather enjoyed the game, even if it felt a bit too handholdy for me compared to the previous games. So this DLC is a great bit of news. It sucked having that DLC case teased in the final case only to find out it wasn't out yet. I look forward to a new sequel with this new trio!

When was the DLC case teased in the final case? I don't remember it.

Also, I think its Handholdy because they wanted to make it accessible to new players for the series, since its essentially a "Rebirth" of the franchise... just as much as Apollo Justice was.

The DLC case is Phoenix's first case after regaining his badge, which Phoenix makes references to in Case 5.
