Felt the place was kinda bare without a thread on this series. I'm currently munching through Tyrannids on Very Hard for Retribution. |

BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! Ok, now that i got that out of my system, hows the 'nid campaign going, ive done the IG and working on the Ork campaigns. There is no problem you cant solve with enough guardsmen. rarely even needed the baneblade i had. Ork dont have such a universal answer though. Any other 40K fans here? |

for orks I suggest sidelining spookums and mr. nailbrain for the loota ugprades they give. Of course, if you manage to find a godly rockit launcher that has "higher rate of fire"[READ: more rockets per launch], swap in spookums. Said extra rockets can make it so that dreadnaughts go down in one volley. Then again, I was playing on Normal for them and to be honest, lotsa lootas with beamydeff guns works. For IG I was juggling forces so badly on Hard considering that my lord general went 0/5/5, inquisitor went 2/4/4, merrick went 0/5/5, and commissar went 0/5/5, AKA no one could take a hit. Kyras ate 3 baneblades, 5 Catachans, and numerous HW Teams. As for my 'nid campaign, I've been focusing on unlocking more strains and possibly using the reset button to harvest levels and wargear...Venom Cannon for the Hive Lord has been my best bunker cleaning device. |

Of you go back to the IG campaign, 3 HW teams can take the final boss without taking a hit, equip lascannons, and place them just OUTSIDE their range markers, they will still fire on him and he cant hurt them. I used the rest of the pop cap on basic guard equiped with plasme guns, vaporized everything that came near, i think i only had to replace 3 squads of troops, and that was right at the begining of the lvl. it seems to me that guardsmen get a better bonus from cover then other unit types. Smaller target? Ive noticed that plasma equipped guardsmen will win just about any one to one engagement when under heavy cover, even if the opponents have the same. As long as heavy weapons arent brought in. |

I had merrick camp outside with a blue lv9 autocannon that had a chance of OHKOing bloodletters(yes, he should've been inside) with Bernn and the baneblade covering him to prevent melee cancellation of deployment. Castor was more or less wandering around giving people faster firing rates. Adrastia was sitting among the HW teams giving heals via stimpack while guarding them from bloodleters. |

I've wanted to play the DoW stuff, but I don't think my graphics card can run them. |

Same here. I own Dawn of War II and it's first expansion, but I can't actually play them. And sadly it's looking like the money I got from my tax return will go towards a Queen sized bed and a couch instead of rebuilding my computer. |

DoW II would probably make my comp explode, so I've been playing Dark Crusade mostly. Just beat campaign mode with the Magpies, actually. |

Oh this is BS. I finished Tyrannids on Very Hard and it doesn't give me either achievement(Finish Tyrannid Campaign, Finish a Campaign on Very Hard) |

I really, really hope you can get Terminator armor later on. No mention of customization yet... I wouldn't be surprised if they give you Chapter recolors as DLC. |

A friend of mine who is really into 40k told me that an earlier interview confirmed chapter customization is part of the game. Now, that said this was supposedly almost a year ago that he found this out, so who knows what's changed, but still.... |

Almost as good as Lowe ^_^
|
It looks pretty good, I saw a few different weapon options gun wise at least. I'm hoping they give you an option to put a damn helmet one, I'm not sure if it's because I hate painting faces in the table top game but I cannot stand helmet-less Marines in battle, it makes no sense not to wear it. I also hope they let you change the armor colour, it won't stop me from buying it but I'm not exactly a fan of the Ultras. I hope they give options to play as a dreadnought, cause that would be fun. |
