No one wanted it because it's turrible. Pity I've already got it on my laptop. Now I do nothing but CHARGE KOTODAMA when I'm not practicing Melty. |

I'm glad I held off on importing it, especially if the rumors about the PSN release being only $30 proves true. Not like I really could've afforded to import it right away anyway. What with coming out the same month as VC3 and all... |

I'm looking to main Maori so far, myself, with the Earth and Thunder Arcana probably being the two I have the most interest in at the moment. Maori seems like she needs a bit of defensive help, and those two arcana seem to provide it. I might choose Love too. Love is, well, love. Really I just can't wait to drop "Nee-chan" on people like she's a freakin' Batman though. XD |

Friend of mine uses Time Maori. Holy fuck is she annoying. I need to start using EF more with Thunder when facing her so I can try and get in, since Thunder EF means CLASH FRAMES EVERYWHERE (clash frames on block = god-tier). As is, I get zoned by her minions and it's infuriating. Or I can try Love, I've never really bothered trying to use it, too used to Thunder and Time. Course, I could just drop Akane and pick up Clarice and have no problem with zoning ever again. "Missed a move? Eat a 236c 236b into BnB." |

Time Maori. . . now that sounds classy. But the Time arcana doesn't sound like one I'd find interesting, from what I read about it. Honestly, Plant - which I guess has been re-named Nature for the English release - sounds the funnest Arcana to me, but it doesn't seem like it'd do much for Maori. I admit to wanting to try Love really badly though. It's EF ability lets you cancel any super into a Love special attack, meaning I want to try comboing the ground Nee-chan super into love beam into ground Nee-chan into. . . well, you get the point. Unless I'm wrong about AH3's combo mechanics, of course. I still don't have the game yet, after all. =__= It shipped today, by the way. In case anyone has it. |

Time is an Arcana that takes a lot of adjusting to, because it changes one of your most fundamental moves, 6D, so every character has to learn entirely new combos to deal with that. However, the ability to plant a 5[e] or 2[e] and either bait someone into it or work it into a combo is pretty neat, 236236e has a lot of potential because of how the character retains hit properties after it's worn off (meaning you can 236236e into a spike, land, then pick them up into a relaunch combo), and the Arcana Blaze (which you have to work into a combo to use reliably, but a lot of that work has already been done) is crazy good. Obviously, it comes down to personal preference, but there's a lot of funky gimmicks that Time gets, so it's worth at least checking out. |

236236e is the "time lock" super, right? Isn't that pretty much the only way to get off an Arcana Blaze, other than an inexperienced/inattentive opponent? I've seem the Time Arcana Blaze, and it takes a very long while to get off after the input. With Homing, I have a hard time seeing it get off without the assist of that other super. |

I got to play this last Saturday at the fighting game gathering I went to in Temecula. I barely had any prep-time going into it; I'd mashed with a friend after first getting the game, and then spent all of maybe 10 minutes with Maori in training mode to learn a single bnb and get a feel for what her specials did. Apparently it worked well, because I did pretty well considering. I forgot most of my bnb, so my combos were sloppy, but I used her zoning to great effect and punished and reversed with the nee-san super. I even jumped out of the metal arcana's sword pincussion super with it! I hadn't realized how useful that was. As for my arcana, I ended up going with Love; I hadn't messed around much with anything else, and the love laser came in hand for a quick, ranged punish if he got past my little-sister-spam. I kept his Petra pinned down with zoning for half the match, but I know I'm still not playing her up to par. I need to be able to get more aggressive with her tops and go for combos if I'm actually going to get good with her. |

Oh, you were at Bell's? Huh. Doubt we played each other, Saturday I was mostly on the Melty setup in the living room, or reading my new acquisitions wherever the other folks from AZ were. Or passed out on the couch in the living room. |

Holy shit, I think I met you! Someone gave me the name Akujiki, but I assumed it was someone else because I didn't expect a Guildie to show up. You played F and H Roa on the Melty screen in the corner, right? I stepped in after the guy running Sion and tried to get back into the swing of things with my H-Mech. |

Bleh Mech. One of the other AZ guys was trolling me earlier by playing F-Mech/Neko and F-Mech solo. Her gimmick bullshit is so annoying. |

Heh, I'm a fan of it myself, although I still need more practice to get better with her. As it is I'm good at baiting counterhits, but I need to practice picking up full combos off them. Been so long I'd forgotten the best way to pick those up from hits with her summoned maids and such. I spent most of my time lurking the MvC3 setups, and hopping in from time to time to try my hand. As expected, I did best with Ammy and Phoenix, and both my Deadpool and Dormammu needed a lot more work. Thank God Phoenix is amazing enough for me to pull through with her alone when I needed to, with or without the Dark Phoenix. |

I'll bring it over, in the sense that I'll import it. The Melty Blood series is still one of my favorite sets of fighting games, and even though I have a soft spot for the licensed material the quality of the gameplay is what kept me around. Actress Again is still my favorite fighting game of all time. I'm not missing out on what they moved on to after their work in the Nasu-verse was done. |

I pretty much agree with you on Melty Blood, but I'm still unsure if I'd want to import UNIB. |
