Getting..Not animated...

Digital Remaster only...

And every other Crossbone fan...

At least the artist is still doingn Gundam and SRW work...even though he still manage to fit in Lolis...XD
So there is still hope...for more Crossbone gundam, since he still keep in contact with Tomino, and let Sunrise know that he is still interested in revisiting the Crossbone serie.

More recent stuff he did..

Promo booklet for the video game Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs.

His newest "SRW" related serie..

Yeah, I heard about the remaster. AND God Bird, though nothing has come up since then.

Tangy, you douche... How dare you raise my hopes, only to dash them immediately... Anyhow, a digital remastering will be nice, since Crossbone tends to be a bit sloppy at times.

What? You can't be tired, you can sleep in the grave.

I understand a digital remaster of a film or TV series, but....how exactly does one perform a digital remaster of a manga?

Oh, and damn you Tangowr for crushing my hopes for a Crossbone anime.

Maybe Hasegawa went back and redid the art? After all, his drawing style has definitely improved since he did Crossbone in the first place.

Does the Kanji actually say remastered?

The only part I made out was the kana saying Renewal.

It says Renewal, not remaster exactly.

For years I've been hearing about how the Crossbone arc is sooo awesome and gritty and how Sunrise never should have stopped animating F91.

And yet the main characters look like Pokemon trainers.

Why is that?

The artist just has a very simple, line-light art style. That might have contributed to its not being licensed.

But really, book, cover, etc.

Whoever told you Crossbone was gritty was lying. The entire reason it's so good is that it DOESN'T try to be all grim and dark and morose all the time like most of Tomino's other Gundam stories. It's much more in the vein of Happy Tomino, though it has just as much drama as it does comedy.

Break only rules created by men, uphold only what is true and everlasting

Indeed, Crossbone really marks the start of the era of happy Tomino. It really is a real robot manga with the spirit of a super robot series at times. The X3 is practically GaoGaiGar before GaoGaiGar was thought of in its debut fight. And in the end, the only characters who die are really the characters who "had it coming". Everyone else either lives, or if they were only somewhat naughty gets a big slap across the face or karate chop . . . literally.

Well, Tomoni and the artist had a great working relation and chemistry.
In interview, they agree on everything, except their taste in girl(Crossbone's artist is a lolicon)
