I, er, didn't wait. But no Alliance Network since I have no Live access until my account is investigated. |

There! Apparently I had to enter the code into EA's totally original version of Steam. Now hat's just weird and obtuse. |

Whelp, my Shepard's been somewhat imported. From this picture... Posted Image ...I was able to make this Shepard: Posted Image The hair's actually much closer than it looks in the picture. Silly crap LED TV. I'm amused, though. This "remodeled" Shepard doesn't have the eyes that scream "I've seen some serious shit." Maybe he went through counseling in his time on Earth. |

Fun fact: importing a default Shepard face save will make him an old saggy bitch in ME3 instead of the default look. |

Amusing note. A few minutes in Multiplayer, and I have... -Battlefield 3 Exclusive Soldier. Who is colored like the cover guy from Battlefield. Named him after Marlowe, but his power set might not be what I'm looking for. -A Drell Adept, who's now at level 3. Looking forward to messing with him, even if Soldier and Sentinel humans were my strengths. |

Okay, remember how they say you can help your single player war effort? You can "erase" any Level 20 characters you have to send to Single Player, which creates a war asset that is 65 base and apparently +10/character, so yes, I'm retraining my Engineer right now. XP |

So does that mean we must do multiplayer in order to get the best ending or something to that effect? |

Not necessarily. From what I can figure of the War Room, you can only improve your chances of getting a BEST END. After all, it only counts so much. |

it helps, at least. Completing multiplayer runs will up Galactic readiness, which is a Effective Force Variable to show how effective your single player forces are against the reapers. |

Pretty much. At the very least, it's a fun diversion. Also, grabbed a Turian Sentinel. Gonna see how he works out. |

Ah, that's fair enough. And fucking hell, this Turian is awesome. Since he's a Sentinel, he's got his hands on tech armor - which I've always loved. Extra armor + panic button defense is always a plus for me. He's also got warp, which I don't use all that much, but it's a nice extra assault against those bastards with barriers. The main one I love to abuse, though, is overload. Dear lord, overload. Because now overload stuns everyone on top of killing shields. Also, the Geth Pulse Rifle I stumbled across is pretty damned badass. Makes me feel like an intelligent commando, frying the enemy like a boss before shooting them in the face. |

Well, been playing for a bit - and goddamn. The sense of hopeful despair that pervades the plot so far is really goddamned strong. It's a different feel from the Dirty Dozen in Space of ME2, and drastically different from the mystery chase of ME1. I actually like it. It's also great to catch up with the survivors of my previous games so far - in my case: Garrus, Thane, Joker, EDI, Kelly and Jack. Hoooly crap, Jack. Jack Spoilers I'm also impressed at how differently the Normandy-II feels compared to ME2, despite only six-in-game-months having passed. I also really approve of the weapons room having been moved down to the shuttle bay so it feels more... naturally-planned. It's about goddamned time, frankly. |

I'm almost at the end of my first playthrough, clocked in 26 hours so far doing everything 100%. I think next play I'll roll a new Femshep and sex up Traynor >_> I'm torn between the Mattock, Falcon and Revenant for the best guns in the game. The Mattock is a sniper rifle posing as an assault rifle, Falcon is a goddamn grenade launcher, and the Revenant is just a great gun all around with the right mods. Though I'm still using Revenant in the final battle just so I don't have to spam click XD Edit: Finished the game... ending was a bit... lacking. |

Kinda reminds me of the lovely thing our corporate did. Rather than send each store 2 copies of the Limited Editions for each console... they sold the whole lot off at a markup to another company. Serious jackasses. |

The Mattock has been god tier since Mass Effect 2 along with the Geth Plasma Shotgun. And the new Geth sniper rifle, the Javelin, kicks ass as well. The Geth make the best guns; just saiyan. |

The Geth Pulse Rifle is also pretty damned awesome. Loads of ammo, quick, accurate... and it deals more than a fair chunk of damage. Very fun. |
