I've been thinking about this series alot recently. It was one of the first Gundam series I saw all the way through (the first was Wing) and it's the only series that I still have the entire DVD collection for. The show was not without its flaws, I admit, and I know fondness for it isn't universal, but I love how they integrated super robot tropes and themes into the quintessential real robot series. I loved the characters (even Domon, though I spent a good amount of time in the tournament arc screaming at him silently for all the stuff he said to Raine.) This is one of those series I wish would get a little more SRW love, though that isn't likely, and a sequel would make me forgive every stupid thing Sunrise has done over the years. Also not likely to happen. |

G Gundam is one of my guilty pleasures. I rewatch random episodes from time to time when I need to go "FUCK YEAH" to something. If anything G Gundam needs a solid fighting game. I was stoked when rumors appeared they were gonna make one... but that was, what, five fuckin' years ago or something for the 25th anniversary... shit. |

G-Gundam is a lot of fun. On the one hand, it tried to take the Gundam formula and spin it into something totally different than it's predecessor, but on the other hand it manages to embody pretty much every trope and message that makes Gundam what it is. |

G Gundam is a good show but I personally couldn't stand Rain. |

Maybe the english dub made me biased, but I'm not able to stomach a whole lot of G Gundam (read: any). But the premise is definitely out of the ordinary compared to the rest of the Gundam series out there |

Ironic, considering a lot of people felt it had the best dub of any of the Gundam shows, though the fact that most of the characters were adults being voiced by adults rather than children voiced by adults probably helped. |

If anything, G Gundam's dub proved that it is possible for a western VA to be hot blooded. |

Its probably my favourite gunda Gundam show. It's light, and kinda episodic at times, especially in the earlier arcs, but I think that's the best thing about the show cause you can just randomly pick up an episode, watch it, and still enjoy the thing. |

I have to agree. I mean, most of the main cast was very solid and very few voices actually hurt my ears. The best was Master Asia's VA, Dave Pettitt, in my opinion. He just captured Master Asia's over-the-top-and-then-some personality perfectly. |

I still get chills when I hear Domon's "Take this! My love, my anger, and all of my sorrow!" in English. |
