Getting S-Ranks on Easy is trouble for me (although S-ranking stage R-00 is easy as cake for me on most difficulties), but I'm getting there. I'm still going to get as many achievements as I can. I just need to get better at parrying normally. |

I find just reflexively tilting the analog stick towards whichever direction a red flash comes from while mashing square is good enough. Worst cases, I can take on 3 Silverbacks and still come out unharmed as long as I watch out for the yellow flashes (R1 and run around until they're done). A common tactic I like is to save trash mobs on the side while fighting bigger stuff. Sliding into trash mobs launches them helplessly into the air, where you can then activate blade mode and zandatsu their guts. Fast, safe, efficient, and you waste practically no resources. |

Im considering playing through Normal mode one more time or just start Hard mode just to attempt those no damage boss trophies. I know i would have loved this game but i didnt think this much...and you actually have to practice a bit in this. Its cool this only takes about 5 hours or less to complete. There are so many combos though, most of which go unused. Any experimented with any usefull combos. The polearm was fun for me. |

S Ranking everything doesn't seem impossible. You can spam checkpoint resets until you get the results you want during any ranked battle. |

It's a matter of practice. And completely maxing out the polearm. That helps. Helps a lot. |

Yeah, doesn't seem too hard since like the final counter it only records completed segments. The bosses are another story for no damage though. Since 1 screwed up quick time and you're effed. Also NANOMACHINES, SON is just too stupidly hard to avoid from what people are saying. |

The QTE's are easy to be honest. Not like the get fuckedathon games like RE6 or the GoW's are. |

Never played RE6 yet but the RE5 ones were at least hilarious when you failed them. Especially when Wesker was involved. |

God, that just reminds me of that early stream of RE5 done by two utterly incompetent players. |

For no reason, this is probably how I'd rate the vocal battle themes after everything. Boss Themes 1) The Only Thing I Know for Real 2) Stains of Time 3) A Stranger I Remain 4) It Has to Be This Way 5) I'm My Own Master Now 6) Collective Consciousness 7) Rules of Nature 8) Red Sun Combat Themes 1) Hot Wind Blowing 2) Return to Ashes 3) A Soul Can't Be Cut 4) Dark Skies |

*joins in* For me it's 1) The Only Thing I Know for Real (The Non Platinum mix version) 2) Locked and Loaded (Grew on me more than rules of Nature >.>; 3) A Stranger I remain (Also the non plat mix version, but the one that leaked weeks ago) 4) Red Sun 5) It Has to Be This Way (Again, the one that leaked, not the plat mix)6) Red Sun 7) I'm My Own Master Now 8) Rules of Nature 9) Stains of time (EPIC guitarmanship, (Shut up, I'm making that word!) but the singing didn't really nail me.) Battle themes 1) The hot wind is blowing. Main themes 1)The war still rages within 2:Whatever the I WAS BORN AT THE WRONG TIME song was called. Yeeeaaah, I basically did not enjoy those Platinum mix versions like I did the original leaked versions. Are the mix versions in the game itself or are they just only on that vocal CD? Curious what the |

The Platinum Mix versions are what play in the game, as far as I've noticed. I've seen people posting the "original" versions among other game tracks, so maybe a different soundtrack has them. The song you're referring to is "Wrong" by Depeche Mode. |

Hmm. Never listened to the actual OST yet so no clue if they're on it. Don't even know if it's even out yet. You can hear the differences mainly in the instruments via the original and the platinum mixes. Such as how "A Stranger I Remain" ver Plat Mix has more emphasis on the piano where as the original not so much but more on the guitar. Also pretty much all the platinum versions have some like weird ass..electronic/trance synthesizer like sound effects in them that IMO take away from the BGM itself. Looking at you The Only Thing I Know for Real >.> |

Well, the real OST is out. Grabbed it off of Amazon.com. I've not had a chance to really listen to it, though. |

If you ever see a DDL for it, give me a holler. >.>; And I doubt it'd be on it, but would have loved the BGM to be on it from the final Kojima cut trailer. Would make M30 awkwardly more..epic. |

I'll see what I can do on that front. >_> Meanwhile, it seems that there's three different OSTs floating around out there. There's the Vocal Tracks, which I have. Then there's a general OST, and a 4-disc-every-damned-song-in-the-game OST. |

Ah, so there is a full OST after all. I was wondering where the track used in the chopper bridge chase and Mega64 skit was. [utube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uc_js2iB3-s[/utube] |

Back on the topic of not getting hit by bosses, my big problem is forecasting and parrying bosses when they do multi-hit combo attacks, especially Sam and Monsoon. They're especially difficult for me to read sometimes. |
