Roaming the six paths of hell
|
It was now 2 days after the Riders of various worlds had begun to appear in a world that they were apparently a form of entertainment. But even after they're arrival, the mystery of their purpose on this world was still enshrouded by mystery... --- "I've lost contact with TAROT," a young woman said as she adjusted her glasses and began to feel vulnerable without the comforting mask on a that moment. "Oh well, now to see how deep this rabbit hole goes..." --- "Two days and still nothing," Date muttered to himself, sitting on his bike at a stoplight. "Oh well, Tokyo wasn't built in a day." The light changed and he drove off, heading somewhere after another clue, one he hoped would lead him one step closer to going home. (Episode 2, begin) |

Youko sat on her bike somewhere in downtown Tokyo on the lookout for Kaijin. She had volunteered for the job as her enhanced eyesight and hearing would pick up any signs of trouble faster than the others could. Aside from some sporadic Unknown sightings and an alarming increase in people being thrown around by an as yet unknown assailant nothing had happened. Normally she'd have become quite antsy already by this point but the fact that she still looked the part of an officer meant that people would come to her for help with various things. That suited her fine. Even if this wasn't Tokyo, she had taken an oath to serve and protect and she would do so even if the threat was mundane. her ears pricked up then at the sound of a distraught child crying for her mother. Never a free moment for an officer of the law it seemed. --- Mana was stopped at a traffic light on the opposite side of town. Like the others she hadn't found any clues nor had she found any Unknown. She let out a little sigh as the light went green, letting her through the intersection. She felt powerless. The Unknown were still around, watching and waiting probably, and she hadn't done anything. Shouichi would have beaten them by now. It seemed then that she was no Shouichi. |

Kaori sat on a bench in a shopping district, looking down to the wallet in her hands. Both she and Saburo were going to run out of cash in the next day or two and they both had to find something to do in order to make money. "I can't stand that guy..." she thought to herself as she remembered the past few nights, "Having to stay the night in the same room as him just makes things worse..." With limited funding and time to find a place and obviously no chances to book ahead of time, Kaori were out of luck when attempting to obtain places to stay at some motels and hostels. They were almost out of options and ready to find a place on the street until the girl spotted something that would work... but would be hated by both of them. Down the street, on the edge of the red light district was a love hotel that was running a special. 2000 yen per night for couples. It was cheap and they were vacant. However, to get in, they'd have to act like a couple AND share the room. "God, I don't believe that I hugged him," she thought shaking her head, "Glad I didn't have to kiss him..." Getting up from the bench, she continued on in search of some kind of temporary job. |

Pulling to a stop infront of an electronics store, Saburo looked towards the window with the 'Help Wanted' sign. Considering he'd worked at an electronic store in his world, he was fairly sure he could pull it off here. The problem was his resume... Sure, he existed in the other world, but here? It wasn't going to be easy to fake a new identity. Bringing one hand up to back, he groaned. "Can't believe I had to fake that last night." he muttered, as he dismounted the bike. How could his situation be so desperate that he had to resort to... A motel to rest? Not only that, but with someone else... "Wouldn't be caught dead sleeping with her." he reassured himself, as he walked into the store. |

Two days. Two days and...nothing. No sign of the conspirators behind her situation, or of anything out of the ordinary to the Linto. She almost felt lost without a clear target to focus on, and she had a hunch that attempting to ask around wouldn't get her anywhere either. It was enough that she almost considered starting another game round to at least pass the time, but without a Judge presiding over it there was little value in doing so. Domagi found herself walking down another of the Linto's infernal concrete walkways, aimlessly placed as ever. What use was burying the earth like that if the path led nowhere? The Arcle bounced freely off her hip as she moved, abruptly shoving a mopey-looking girl out of her way. |

Kaori continued to walk around looking for a possible place to get a job. She really wished that she could just go to her usual quiet job, but the library that she worked at didn't exist in this world. Her sulking train of thought was then sent off a cliff as she was suddenly shoved by a some woman passing by. "Hey!" she yelled, turning back, "You didn't have to shove me like that!" |

"_________" Domagi brushed her off in an incomprehensible language, before pausing to realize the futility. She turned to face the complaining being, thinking over the Linto dialect she had picked up. "Then...do not block my path." |

Kaori was somewhat shocked once she got a better look at the woman who shoved her. She was missing an eye and she also wore some kind of unique belt. Was this woman someone else from some other world like her? "_________" "What was that?" she then asked, not understanding a word that Domagi had said. "Then...do not block my path." "I- ..." she started to reply before correcting herself. It looked like this woman had seen worse times than she did, "My apologies. Also, could I ask you one short thing?" |

Mana stopped at another traffic light lost in her thoughts as she heard the telltale sounds of an altercation. She looked to her side and wheeled her bike over to the side of the road and put the kickstand in position. "Stop it!" She shouted. That's all you could think of? A small detached part of her thought. |

"W- wait! Calm down!" Kaori said, regretting saying anything in the first place, "I don't know who did it... I don't know who Daguba is... and I was randomly brought hereas well..." She then looked downwards with a frustrated look. "There's also this other guy I met who ended up here while going through fog as well," she then said a bit more quietly, "I just thought that maybe we could help each other or something. Find a way so we can get back to our homes." "Stop it!" That voice sure sounded familiar... "Mana?" |

"Others?" Domagi paused to consider this. If it was more than just herself effected, then was Daguba still a likely suspect...? "Stop it!" Further speculation would have to wait; she dropped Kaori and turned to face the owner of the new voice. "Damnable Linto..." |

Mana moved to Kaori's side and helped the girl up. She checked the other girl briefly and it seemed she was still all right. She then turned to face the scarred girl. Well now what? She looked angry and ready to split the two of them in half. She hadn't a clue as to what to do. Mana didn't know what Shouichi would do either, so it was time for something unexpected. "W..would you like to get some food?" |

She looked at the other two girls with a smile, "So I'm sure we're all hungry, so how about some food, and then we can talk about this altercation." Without waiting for either one of the combatants to recover from that, Mana herded them along looking for a restaurant. "SO what's everyone in the mood for?" |

"Oh, Korean Barbeque," Mana said reading a sign. "This looks good." She ushered both Kaori and Domagi in and to a table and quickly ordering. "So..." she said smiling at both, while waiting for the meat to arrive "I already know Kaori but who are you?" |

"I can almost smell an undead," Mayu whispered to herself, "but this doesn't look like my Tokyo." The roar of a motorcycle interupted her thoughts, turning her attention towards the road, as she watched Date drive past her. Her face soured as she could hear the subtle differences between a regular motorcycle, and one custom built for a Kamen Rider. "Is it BOARD doing this to me?" she spat out from between clinched teeth, before whistling to summon her own bike. "I guess I'll just have to beat some answers out of him." She climbed about the bike after walking it out into the road, and took off after Date. |
