go through the standard "connect via usb" thing on the psp, then once its recognized copy the save you want from your pc to the folder labeled pspsavedata on the memory stick

I've been trying that, but every folder I put a file in (mp3) hasn't done anything. I can't even find a file that is pspsavedata. When I open the PSP I get a PSP file and when I open that, I get a SAVEDATA and SYSTEM file.

alright, go to psp then SAVEDATA, once there copy the folder that you extracted the gamesave to (the ones i have seem to have 3-5 files in it, and the folder is named after the region the game number and occassionally the game title ie: ulus10068mmmhx for megaman x) and paste that whole folder into the save data folder, make sure that there isn't another internal directory for it. if that doesn't work, I dont know what to tell you.

I finally got it moved, but the PSP just keeps saying that the files are corrupted regardless of what type they are.

This is just a guess since I've never had that problem, but are you using one region's save with the game from another region?

What exactly are you trying to do, Phoenix? Add mp3s, or game saves, to your PSP? Music should go into PSP/Music, and saves into PSP/SaveData... although make sure you have the save's folder, such as "ULJM05355GGXXACPLUS". Just the file on its own wont work without the folder.

If it still isn't working... the save may just not work. Sorry. =/

After some work I was able to get mp3s and videos to work, but game saves are still seen as corrupted. I did just as the sheet you gave me said, but I still can't get emulators to work.

Hm... try the NesterJ NES emulator for me then. That's one I have working on mine. Put the whole Nester J folder into PSP/Game, and place ROMs into the NesterJ folder. It should appear under Game -> Memory Stick on the PSP menu after that... if not, we might have a problem.

Breath of Fire 3.
Be prepared to search for the European edition, as it was never released in America.

Fucking shame, too. I would kill for a BoF compilation in America...hello, I'd easily settle for just 3 & 4.

Was Breath of Fire 3 the one whose in-game directions for navigating the sand maze were wrong, forcing players to either quit or look online?

Lol i had the PS version and it was win. the only problem i got stuck on... was the Vinegar mini game that required you to hear something so youd know when to pull it up. as many of you know, I... have a problem with that kind of thing XD. thankfully somehow i got through it wayyyyy later. And was able to finish the game. Awesome game.

Besides BOF3, there's also:

Star Ocean: First Departure
Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of Lions
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7
Tales of Eternia (like BOF3, it's an import from Europe)
Jeanne D'Arc

Of the games on this list I've only played Eternia and FFT (and BOF3), but the others have gotten generally solid reviews.

Got my friends PSP to work at last.

Any must play PSP games, that aren't JRPGs or SRW?

So far I have God of War and Ultimate GnG. Gonna give Gundam Battle, Macross and Gundam vs Gundam a try.

I seem to be having a problemP. I was playing AP, and more than once while in the middle of gameplay, it's goes to the screen that asks you if you want to exit the game. But I never once actually pressed the Home button.

Anyone else ever have this issue come up?

Well, I've been playing FFT:WoL... and I must say this:

1) The plot puts me to sleep still.
2) I like the concept of JP and the way buying skills doesn't limit you to what weapons you can equip.
3) The plot is boring.
4) The CGI-cinematics are great, with fantastic voice acting for a Square-Enix game, but I'd enjoy them more if they were in place of all the text-cimenatics rather than once-in-a-blue-moon like we got in MS Saga. Fucking books of text...
5) The JP system, while nice, doesn't give you enough JP to justify using the more 'unique' classes to earn the JP to make them useful.
6) The stilted camera angles suck. We're working with something more powerful than a PS1, let me choose whatever angle I want to use, not one of four! Bastards!

Oh, and...

7) The slowdown is inexcusable on this handheld. Everything more than a simple sword slice... as a regular attack... is cursed with an insane level of slowdown. Even a simple tackle/punch counterattack turns into a minute-long lagfest. We're working with a PSP here, something with the potential of a scaled-down PS2. This is just... inexcusably stupid.

Other than that... meh. I've seen the plot done before, and better. I've seen the gameplay done before and (mostly) better. The plot is excusable (or would be if they were skippable... or enjoyable to slog through), but the gameplay and slowdown is not.
Especially when it's being released again... ten years later.

Fucking SquareEnix.
I'm just glad I got it used for $10 when I did.

Technically PSP is supposed to be better than PS2 in some ways. But yeah, the lag is terrible.
