Ya got it from datel's website right? They kind of suck, my service tool was given a tracking number and had the data transferred to ups four days before it was picked up from the warehouse. They didn't seem to have a problem taking my money though... |

well they took mines, but then put it back on thursday. It's been a week since I ordered and I've still not gotten a single mail or message about WTF is going on. Site still says it hasn't shipped. Anyone know of a better site that has the battery? |

Only one I have unfortunatlely is the cheap one that came with it. game wise, IHX came on thursday......whores!!! They changed the location of the dash boots, and it completly ruins my routine for the armor parts. I got to the sigma stages without any of them. I thought I'd at least get the Z-Buster, but they change all the sigma levels as well! >_< |

I cleared the X story line, and then rewatched DoS for old times sake......I forgot how depressing the last chapter with Light and X's trip down memory lane was =/. And it also pretty much confirmed it itself that Light died of old age. though Inafune also gave it away. Tried Vava mode....I couldn't get passed the highway >.>... |

Hey, the Vile/Vava levels were awesome. It just takes a TON more patience because it's basically extreme hard mode - particularly when one villain's weakness is only given to you after you beat him. That said, I had an easier time with Vile/Vava once I got the armor and boots. His weapon varieties were pretty useful. And yeah, Maverick Hunter X was frickin' awesome. You might wanna grab Powered Up next, Zechs. |

Was thinking about ordering RockmanRockman with IHX since it's also cheap for like $12, but IIRC there's certain features in the game that require you to actually read the instructions, so I might pick MMPU if they have it cheap at gamestop. Right now my top 2 games to pick up are DASH 1 and 2. Sucks they never got a US relrease =/. also that ****ing battery that has yet to ship >_<!! The CFW was the reason I got the PSP in the 1st place....though the themes thing did sorta take over... |

Sadly Lunar version only =/. and it sucks because the PSP games apperantly run smoother in parts then the PS1 counterparts. Both are currently $25 at PA. http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-9f-49-...sh-70-1mko.html http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-9f-77-...sh-70-1mks.html The only real probleme language wise that bothers me are the items for weapons development. I can figure the rest out based on the US games. |

...well, that fucking sucks. How were the PS1 games when it comes to controls? I tried the N64 version and the controls were pretty much made of suck and lose. |

The PS1 controlls were great and worked perfectly. especially in 2. I also tried the 64 port a while ago and just gave up befor even clearing the tutorial stage. The controlls were just too horrible compared to it. |

[Does a quick look on eBay.] Well, that's good. MML 1/2 and TB aren't horribly overpriced at all. [Glares at the FF7 fanboys for turning the price into the hundreds.] |

went to walmart to buy a birthday gift for a certain sibling who wouldn't shut the hell up, but by chance I managed to snag a Sony type 1gig MSD. luckily the gift item was a digital camera so all I had to do was throw it into the cart as a needed item. Now I just need that blasted battery. IHX wise I finally got used to Vava, currently at the sigma stages. Took a whille to get used to his weapons set up though. |

Then he'd be a Megaman X clone and we cant have that with Vile. And Vile > Vava. Vava sounds like something a baby would say. |

Portable Ops Plus is basically "Metal Gear Online Prototype II version 1.5" to the "Metal Gear Online Prototype I" that is the second disc of Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence. The entire point of the game is to go and earn new characters/weapons/items that you can use in the online game of Portable Ops (That's right! They're not even the same damned game!), but that you can NEVER use in single-player. Ever. And even then, in order to play single-player, you need to buy the plain version of Portable Ops. The 'Plus' is there to denote the fact that, well, POP is basically a 30 buck add-on pack for an online game whose shelf life is already temporary by the fact that there's another one out there that's far more popular (and Konami already axed the MGS3 form long ago when PO came out). Really, don't get Portable Ops Plus. It's a waste of cash. Hell, it's hard to justify getting Portable Ops itself, really. It has nothing to do with answering questions about MGS4, particularly now that we have the internet to give us the plot in a few seconds. It doesn't even have the 'lost chapter of Metal Gear' going for it, seeing how the whole thing is just utterly tossed together (Snake is betrayed by Fox Hound! Only he's not! And he meets Gray Fox! Who is like a prototype Cyborg Ninja at this point! Despite never being mentioned like this before! And the rest of the plot makes no sense and the whole game looks like Grozjney Grad anyhow!). Furthermore, the controls are pretty shitty overall compared to any other Metal Gear I've played (and I've played shitfests like the NES Metal Gear and Snake's Revenge!). The camera is controlled by the D-Pad and movement is controlled with the control nub-stick - which instantly creates problems. You can only carry 4 items, and things like ammo and silencers are counted as separate items - which essentially screws you over if you want to go item farming. Stealth in this game is essentially fucked up - in order to keep the camera behind you, you need to hold the 'center camera. button down. This button ALSO keeps your gun out and pointed out in front of you like a ninny... and blows any attempt at stealth possible... which is only tenuous in the first place, because the enemy only refuses to blow the whistle when: 1) You look like them. Exactly like them - a grunt looking at a grunt, a GRU looking at a GRU, ect. Which explains why the Russian military utterly collapsed (though what RUSSIANS are doing in SOUTH AMERICA is beyond me...), but doesn't help when areas are patrolled by 3 or 4 kinds of soldiers. 2) You're running around like a moron. Because walking is suspicious. So yeah... If you couldn't tell, I couldn't stand Portable Ops (It's like... a 6 out of 10 overall - looks great, controls great... moves and feels like a drunken cow on prom night trying to attract a mate). I'm not gonna say "don't touch it ever," because there are some good things... ....but ALL of those good things can be found in the Ac!d series without a problem. Ac!d 1 feels a little too stiff, but it's damned fun - and Ac!d 2 fixes almost all of the problems. Seriously, Ac!d is awesome, almost like the Turn-A Metal Gear in terms of what you can utilize (almost every weapon, almost every character you've seen before... and then some, if you've not played everything). |

I see, thanks for the info. I'll probably get the ACIDs now instead. I'm never planning to take my PSP online anyways. randomly, is there any updated version of the XMB creator? I was thinking of updating the firware, but hell no as it is now. I have enough problemes filling out the icon roster, I don't need an aditional catagory and 10+ new icons to add in with 5.1 |

Just came back from my mystical shopping journey. didn't come out as planned, but good enough. Gamestop at the mall: they had a good PSP section, but they didn't have Orochi. They DID have both MGA's for less then $9 as Hobbsie said, but none had the actual cases so a no go. Gamestop 2 was only like a block away for some reason: their selection of both new and used PSP games sucked ass, but they DID have Acid 2 used with the actual box. Also picked up Samurai Warriors state of War. There was also a new best buy across the street, and awesomely they had MMPU for $14.99 so picked that up as well. |

Excellent choices, Zechs. About the only things you'll be missing out in the Ac!d 1 to Ac!d 2 crossover is being able to bring a card over that you like or is valuable to a great extent. I do recommend grabbing Ac!d 1 someday, but be warned that the gameplay is going to be a huge tonal shift overall. Also, I own State of War - my only warning is that it's just rather repetitive in the tone of the other DW/SW games. At least you get some neat gameplay variations and some fun stories to work with, though. |

SoW was the 1st game I tried out, and it was alright. Though I don't like the action being interupted so much. But I do like the strategy elements. Still havn't tested Ac!d2, But I will tonight. While the disk itself is fine, the UMD container itself looks pretty scratched. Hoping it won't be a big deal. Just started RMRM/MMPU. So far it's great, and being able to play as the 8 bosses is awesome. Although is there any way to get the slide and charge Buster? No fair that only HK Rockman gets it >.>;;. Only real complaint about it are the annoying voices. And General question for anyone who's had their PSP for a long time. Anyone have any expreiences with things such as non responsive buttons or wear and tear? I'm thinking about whether or not I should get the extended store warranty for $30 befor they 30day period is over. But then there's also the deal with the custom Firmware and whether it will somhow void it.. |
