>.>;; aaaaand back to the annoying questions. BB currently has the Madden one for around the same price as the Core unit http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?sk...d=1215217110196 But I'm wondering, do the God of War ones still exist in stores? I don't care for the franchise, but definitly want that shade of red. I was at the Super walmart and saw both the R&K pack 3000 pak and the core, but wasn't sure. >.>;; also my father, brother, and annoying sister were there and I'm not crazy enough to buy a hand heled at 200+ infront of them. They also had the Sony 4 gig mem card for $30. |

I thought you wanted to do CFW? Remember you can't do it with the 3000 (the July/Aug 2000 models too, but your chances of getting one of those aren't too high). >>;; Sony sticks run kinda slow BTW. Try to go Sandisk if you could. |

I don't know, didn't you just say they were 3000s? (I haven't been keeping up on 3000 bundles, so I don't know if they made new ones for them) And even if it is a 2000, there's still a chance it might have the 3000 motherboard that was only produced for 2 months before they went back to the old one again. |

Only the Ratchet and Klank ones. AFAIK it's the only 3000 currently on the market in the US. The Cores not due till next month. Well either way I've settled on the 2000 tomorrow. Just need to decide on which exact one. The motherboard issue still bugs though.... |

Do 3000s invalidate the pandora battery or something? What's the problem? I'm cashing in my warrant for a new PSP soon, so I need to know. Also, if you do go the pandora battery route, apparently 4GBs are the biggest that CFW will run... so you can safely ignore the 8GB model. I just grabbed a 4GB myself, because for 22 bucks including shipping, that is something I couldn't pass up. |

3000s have a new type of motherboard that makes it impossible (atm anyway) to have CFW on it with all of the old methods. In July, the 2000s had this same motherboard, but for some reason, the 2000 models produced in Sept and up had a motherboard that was CFW usable again. One of my friends got a PSP recently, and got one of the non-CFW 2000 ones. He just exchanged it at the store though saying it didn't work, and his next 2000 was a good one. XD |

So when I cash in my warranty, what exactly should I look for? Is there a specific tag on the box that'll have a date I can check, or do I play the lottery? |

Well, you don't have to wait that long... you just need to get it out of the box before you can tell. I just found this: http://gamevideos.1up.com/video/id/22259 |

Yeah, that's the weird thing. It made NO SENSE that they used the future 3000 motherboard for 2 months on the 2000 before making a new CFWable motherboard on the 2000 (for only what, 1-2 months?). |

So what months are okay to buy 2000s from, you said? Was it October/November that was safe, or September/October? |

I double checked with the guy on GF and he was able to reconfrim it. You have the LE Madden 09 PSP? so the CFW does indeed work with it? Also if you do have it, around what time did you buy it?

Maybe I'm misinformed, and an 8 gig would work on my PSP. *shrugs* Oh well, the 4 gig I just bought will be more than enough. I can fit any one(and sometmes two) .iso and my NES emulator and games on a 2 gig, so a 4 gig is already more than I need. So who knows any good homebrew software for the PSP? Right now I have my NES emulator, and basic iso functionality, but I don't know what else I'm missing out on. |
