You're about several months behind stupid Chinese people who have made the point of having their children given birth today. As well as the advertising schemes that have popped up because of it.

There was a god damned queue at the hospital today.

That's ok, but you know what? I'll bet you anything that half of those children will have their names include the character 發 (fat, phonetically similar to 8), which is the synonym for getting rich. Because parents who try to have their 8/8/8 only have a shitty thought pattern.

Just wait until next year, when the ninja and all will be going nuts checking out whomever was born September 9th.

Nothing will actually match today's phenomenon, since 8 is supposedly the best number. Though I wouldn't be surprised if they found a new way...

This is my in-laws' anniversary. They went to mass this morning at 8am. XD They were married 08/08/64 which I just thought was hot shit mathematically. It helped inspire my wife and I to choose 04/28/07 as our wedding date, doesn't fit quite as cleanly as theirs, but I still like it.

Well, to the ninjas, supposedly 9 is the perfect number, or so I've been told.

But then, I'm not a ninja. :ph43r:

The only things about 08/08/08 that come to mind when I woke up on that day is that it's the day the olympic torch is going to be lit, and the bread in my fridge is at its best-before date.

This didn't happen in the stadium, didn't it.

I was expecting the Segway Soldier Squad.

Optionally, with guns-a blazing so it becomes an Internet Image Macro for years to come.
