A little difficult, but I used Destroy Stellar and spammed the hell outta him with that claw attack. The only time I lost was when I decided to use the Stellar's special. For some reason, they kicked the crap outta me while I was using the special and the finisher got canceled. I have a feeling that using Setsuna might have been a better idea. |

Heero and Duo are the newest characters in ver. 2.0 Getting them, however, is a giant pain in the ass. More than it was to get Santa Dearka. So, you unlock them by defeating Iron Mask and Bright with Heero and Duo on a special stage: some frozen and slippery landscape. The problem lies in their movesets. Heero's attacks are variable, but if you get hit while using the ground variant of his "D" special, Heero will launch a counter that takes a nice chunk of your opponent's HP out. Both of them have their Gundams' trademark weapons, the Beam Scythe and Twin Buster Rifle. Sadly, the TBR is Heero's MAX move; you can't use it at any other time. Duo's scythe is one of his specials, and is very effective because he swings it twice (once downwards and once back up). However, you have to put yourself at a distance to hit an opponent effectively, so plan accordingly. Both Heero and Duo introduce a new attack feature: temporary immobilization. This works wonders on cheap spammers like Kira, Bright and Michael. Duo's immobilization move is the key to effectively using his MAX move, since it is very easy to break his MAX move (recall his DK from SRW W, if you've played it; that's his MAX move). If you immobilize your opponent, you don't have to worry about getting hit, and the trade-off is a lot of HP being taken off your opponent. |

It took me a bit to get used to them, but once I did, I was able to beat them both with Heero. His counter is pretty good if you've got perfect timing, but otherwise, I stick with his aerial D special and his S attack. I've noticed that he rides across on a horse if you hold down S. However, I don't know which of his moves immobilizes enemies. On another note, Heero's MAX attack varies from Final TBR to Rolling TBR. The main factor seems to be the opponent's remaining life, so he'll do Rolling TBR if you're opponent is almost dead and Final TBR under other circumstances. Duo is a bit easier for me to use, though his scythe's range is quite demanding. It can't be too far or too close. I know his immobilization move, but it takes quite a bit for it to active. I have no idea how to land it perfectly. Also, although it is easy to break his MAX attack, if you keep a far distance, you should be able to get it to land. |

Version 2.1 is out. New fighters are: Lalah, Nicol and the secret unlockable this time is: Lacus. Let me describe Lacus: JESUS FUCKING GODDAMN BROKEN PIECE OF SPAMMING BROKEN SHIT! If you hate Lacus as a character, you'll hate her even more as an opponent. She has a singing attack that can--no, not paralyze you, but reverse your movement (i.e., left arrow moves your character to the right; attacks are unaffected). Her stage is Lacus plus UC Haro (who is equally spammy) at the same time. The best tip is to tank like your life depends on it, occasionally launching ranged attacks here and there. When your MAX meter is full, let that monster fly free. My recommendations for beating Lacus and UC Haro are either Setsuna or Iron Mask. Setsuna's Trans-Am can unload a lot of damage on the duo (since they usually stick together unless one or the other moves away), and Iron Mask's helmet blade is the best spam attack to counter their high levels of spamming. Iron Mask is the better of the two because his helmet blade is guaranteed to hit one or the other multiple times, thus making things easier. For a character who advocates for peace, Gundam Fighter Lacus is extremely violent. |

I barely beat her and UC Haro with Stellar. It was usually the last part of her MAX attack that would kill the last one off when I had a sliver of health. After all, Stellar's MAX attack as Destroy is pretty broken, but you have to take advantage of it fully. Still, Lacus is pretty cheap, but the AI doesn't seem to notice as much... |

Ver. 2.2 is out now. New characters are Seabrook and Patrick, both of whom are available right away. Seabrook is by far my best fighter. He has a good balance of attacks (2 versions of his VSBR, beam rifle from the air, his spinning beam saber trick) and can really unload damage onto the opponent. His MAX attack is like Char's "3x Faster" special move, but it also increases his attack power significantly; the spinning beam sabers and the charged VSBR attacks can result in a OHKO, if timed correctly. The other effect is the afterimages from F91's cooling system, which can help in battle. Patrick is not that bad. He has a dashing charge with a knife. And yes, his bouquet to Kati back in Season 1 is his other dashing attack (complete with Patrick shouting "TAISA!!" as he charges). He has a leaping beam saber attack (of course, Patrick monologues about Kati during the attack, I think; I heard a "Taisa" in there...) and an aerial beam rifle shot. His MAX attack is like Setsuna's Trans-Am, but in order to work, Patrick must connect on the initial charge, otherwise he'll just dash across the screen and not do anything. |

Alright, just played Ver 2.3 and it automatically unlocks both Athrun and Tieria right off the bat. So...here's my input: Athrun seems sort of like a low-powered Seabook with a basic Beam Rifle attack and a twin Beam Saber attack, plus an aerial shield throw. His special is just a blast from the Scylla Beam Cannon. As for Tieria, purely a long-ranged character. All his moves have a delay before firing either the GN Bazooka or his GN Cannons. He has no aerial attacks whatsoever. As for his special, it's Trans-Am, but it's not as good as Setsuna's. His GN Bazooka does more damage and I think the same applies for his GN Cannons, but I rarely use them. His special in Trans-Am has him eject his clothing and firing a blast...that's angled upwards. I have yet to land this special in the two times I've used him. |

I skipped out on this for a while, so it was fun to go back in and unlock Santa Dearka, Hiiro, Duo and Lacus all in one go. Somehow managed to get Lacus with Cagalli, but darn was that a hard fight! Took me many, many tries. ;_; |

Version 2.4 is out now. New Fighters are Prince Ali and the first entry into CCA territory, Quess. Also the fighter list has been rearranged so that the 00 cast plus Heero and Duo are on the top row, followed by all of the Cosmic Era gang plus UC Haro, and the bottom row is all of the UC gang. Ali: Pretty decent. He has a counter attack (something only Andy and Heero have), which is a basic knife slash at the enemy. He shoots off two versions of GN Fangs (one is air-to-ground, the other is air-to-air), as well as a bazooka attack (which I think comes from an episode in 00). And this is where things get a little interesting. The barrage will hurt anyone it hits, INCLUDING Prince Ali. It's powerful, but be careful or you'll TKO yourself. His MAX attack is a spider-like thing grabbing the opponent and blasting said opponent to smithereens. Quess: Average. Her "I'm Not Listening, Physics" stunt from CCA has been turned into one of her special moves. It almost works like Samus Aran's Screw Attack or similar attacks of that nature. And it is directable....kind of. Altough, like Emma's Rapid Headbutt attack, it can make Quess dizzy and immobile, so be careful. Her other move is either a pair of Funnels shooting at the enemy (like Haman's version) or her using her pigtails to float in the air. Her MAX attack is her getting angry and unloading a Mega Beam Cannon blast on the enemy. |

Version 2.5 is out, and CCA is the lead here. There are three new fighters you can unlock, but you have to complete a long side quest with Amuro surrounding the events of CCA (with guest appearances from Lalah, OYW Char, Andy, Ali, Michael, Stellar, Shinn, Emma, Quattro, Kamille, the Radish, and Kai) to unlock them. Nanai Miguel also is featured, but she only appears in this quest and is not available in this version. But the end results are worth it. New Fighters: CCA Amuro and Char, and some kind of badass re-imagining of Hathway Noa. No, seriously. CCA Amuro: A huge improvement over his OYW version. He uses a lot of Nu Gundam's weapons and tricks (including the dummy balloons, which bear Amuro's likeness here) and they do a lot of damage. His MAX attack has him deploying Fin Funnels which float around and attack opponents. CCA Char: Very good. Like CCA Amuro, CCA Char has a lot of Sazabi's weapons. He also has a "Seig Zeon" move where he summons a train full of people he knew (like Haman, Emma, and Kamille)......and gets run over by it. He also can summon Nanai to slap opponents silly. His MAX attack: 1/60 Axis drop. Full Stop. Hathaway: Surprisingly good. I mean, good enough to make you wonder if you are indeed using Hathaway Noa or some badass doppelganger (Sayako, maybe?). He has no aerial attacks, but he makes up for that in sheer power. He has a lasso attack that can reach a long distance. His other special attack is a little jig (some scene from CCA I can't remember) which can rack up the damage because it has a short "cooldown" time (i.e., you can re-use the attack very quickly). His MAX attack is essentially his RAGE attack from CCA. |

Damn, that was one hell of a side quest... The only problem I have with Amuro's MAX attack is that he's unable to block any attacks whatsoever and there doesn't seem to be any defensive bonus or anything of the sort. |

Huh, I didn't unlock Hathaway. Just the CCA versions of Amuro and Char. Did I miss something? Is it because I lost a fight early on without a game over? EDIT: GWARG! Double posted. Meant to edit this in. >_< Also, I realized I was on B-Route because of that loss, and that's why I missed him. |

Not entirely true, a few fights are different. When invading Axis with Seabrook, you fight Patrick, Karozzo and Stella instead of Trinty-guy-whose-name-I-don't-remember-because-he-was-never-important, Ali and Stella. Also, the fight just before CCA Char is against Lalah, Quess and Nanai instead of Hathaway, Quess and Nanai. Lalah is a LOT harder, as Hathway doesn't even seem to use special attacks. |

Ver 2.6 is finally out. New fighters include Relena and Gyunei. Relena: Seems like all her attacks are completely based off of Just Love with her in a safari outfit. Her S attack is pretty plain, which is her rushing forward and posing for two hits. Her D attacks are far more useful. Regular press is her grabbing a deer and jumping up, while holding it has her spinning her hat on her fingers. Her aerial D attack is dropping an elephant onto the enemy and a successive press/hold has her pulling its tail for a second hit. Her MAX attack has Heero offscreen firing at her and completely missing, except for the last shot which you have to manually evade. Gyunei: A little more useful than Relena. His S attack for a regular press is firing two missiles, while a hold results in three beams from his shield. His D attack launches two funnels and his aerial D attack...no idea what it does. His MAX attack has him launching his funnels to shoot down nukes. |

Gyunei's aerial D pushes the enemy away. Saved my butt when I did it to push Relena away just as she was about to crush me with that rhino. Also, it's possible for Gyunei to get hit by the nukes in his MAX attack if you're too close to the edge. |

Version 2.8 is out. Now with Shield Breakers. And.... --Shiro Amada --Terry Sanders, Jr. --Aina Sahalin --Alternate Lunamaria Shiro: Very good character, excepts that like Hathaway, he has no aerial moves. He has a machine gun attack, and a neat Counter move where he basically clamps onto his opponent and blasts them with a rocket launcher. Oh, did I mention that he RIPS OFF HIS OWN ARM AND BEATS OPPONENTS WITH IT? His MAX attack basically summons the 08th MS Team (sans Eledore, but Miguel is there dancing around like an idiot) to blow the living crap out of the enemy. Sanders: Very good as well. Like his commander, Sanders lacks a direct aerial move. However, Sanders' moves make up for that with their alternate modes. He has two versions of a "Miguel Throw" (LITERALLY), one is a basic throw while the other has Miguel bouncing up and down for a shorter distance. Good for stopping projectiles, if you ask me. Also, Sanders has two 180mm cannon moves: a lobbing arc and a drop version (he shoots straight up and the shell comes down on the opponent, similar to Ali's "Rocket Roulette"). His MAX attack is a rocket barrage that Sanders watches quite happily. Aina: Interesting, to say the least. She has a doll (with Ghinus' name on it) that she beats opponents with and an aerial rocket strike. Like Char's "3x Faster" and Mwu's "Moebius Zero Pegas", Aina can transform into the Apsalus II and fly around, while shooting its mega particle cannon. Her MAX attack is a scattering blast from Apsalus II's cannon. I have yet to unlock the alternate Lunamaria, so no comments there. |

I figured out how to get 5th Luna, but it's a pain in the ass. It branches off from the CCA story, but on the 3rd mission, purposely choose a wrong choice so that Kai gets taken out. This leads to Amuro taking on 4 Lunas, then 5th Luna. I'm currently stuck on the minigame that follows because I can't read it. |

I managed to get past the minigame after the 5 Lunas. Click the bottom most article, then the 3rd article, then the 2nd article, then the 1st article, then the picture outlining the Axis crash. Note that I found this out just by guessing. ... Got 5th Luna. She's scary. A is just the usual punch. Nothing fancy, doesn't combo. Forward+A has her swinging her ahoge at the enemy with pretty big range. Tapping S has 5th Luna dash diagonally up then crash on the floor butt-first. Holding S has her spinning her ahoge like a pinwheel. Or I think it's the other way around. Aerial S has her crashing on the floor butt-first. Tapping D is the same as normal Luna's S attack; holding D during the animation has her bouncing off the enemy between hits. Holding D has her charging up angrily then shoots herself like a missile. Her super has her summoning 3 mini-Lunas that swarm the map continuously whipping with their ahoges. |
