"It shouldn't be that surprising, considering what's been going on these last few months after all." Still watching the sleeping man, Kupek gave a slow nod, and then turned to look back at Faris as she spoke again. "What I'm more surprised about is that nobody has thrown him out yet." "To be fair, he's only sleeping, Kupo." The moogle shuffled somewhat in his seat, and looked to the others before looking back to the Viera. "The name's Kupek, by the way; Kupek Moguru. It's nice to meet you, kupo!" He smiled geniuniely and held his hand out for her. |

"To be fair, he's only sleeping, Kupo." Faris hummed and propped her head with her hand, leaning on the table slightly. She still found it odd but decided to drop the subject once the moogle straightened himself out in his chair. "The name's Kupek, by the way; Kupek Moguru. It's nice to meet you, kupo!" She smiled softly and reached her hand up to shake his. "Faris Bunansa. Pleasure..." she purred the last words abd smirked. |

Listening to the exchange between the Viera and the armored warrior (Who was revealed to be a curiously small creature. He'd find out more about this soon...), Raidou leaned his head to the side and looked down at the tanked man. The dense smell of alcohol filled the air, and even he began to feel slightly lightheaded. Turning away a bit, he considered dragging the man out to air out the place... "One would think they'd have guardians or something for this place to toss out people heavily impaired by alcohol." he commented. Passing by the Viera and the Armored Knight, he looked down upon the drunk man. Throwing caution to the wind, he slipped his foot out and nudged the man in the leg. "Excuse me, stranger." |

"Maybe we should go somewhere a bit quieter. Follow me." Sendis began to follow the armoured team commander as she looked up at the Moogle, "Oh that's well and fair. I'm willing to fight and help out as best as I'm able," she said with a smile as the group entered the tavern. She took in her surroundings, making note of a few details for later and brushed past teh drunken man. She sat down in her seat, making note of Faris and Kupek's names. She then looked to Raidou, "Perhaps you should just leave him be? Those possessed by the drink can be quite unpredictable." |

A bit of a walk and a corrected wrong turn later, Lufia, Dani, Kai, as well as a few other warriors who had pick out 13s arrived at the Golden Chocobo. "Eheheh, sorry about the mistake back there," Lufia apologized, rubbing the back of her head while she held her trusty hammer with the other, "We're here now, so let's go in!" |

Dani nodded, looking up at the building. She was pretty sure that this was a different place than last night, which meant they should be safe from unwelcome interruptions... at least, expected ones. |

"Perhaps you should just leave him be? Those possessed by the drink can be quite unpredictable." Glancing back to the lady that had spoken, he retracted his foot. "Is that true? Interesting... There are no such people like this where I come from." he spoke in a low tone, before stepping away from the man. Mention of the word 'unpredictable' didn't make him any keener on trying to wake the man to get him to leave. After all, it was that unpredictability that led to him getting kicked around by Bangaa. "There still seems to be alot that I need to learn about this economy, and those that live in it. Everything is vastly different when compared to home." |

After stepping in, the smell of alcohol wafted over and Lufia coughed lightly. She didn't drink much so it wasn't atmosphere she was used to. "So," she then said, turning to Dani, "We have to find the owner now, right?" |

The door to the inn burst open, revealing a massive, axe-bearing Bangaa who strode into the building like he owned the place. Following close behind were several more warriors, including a female Archer, a Chemist with a complex set of glasses, and a Black Mage whose wide-brimmed hat made his face look pitch-black. "Hah, what a joke," snorted the Bangaa as he sat down at a table slightly away from the center of the room. "Like any of those ssscrubs could hold a candle to us." "It's just pathetic," responded the woman archer. "A bunch of stupid kids who think that just because they can swing a sword or throw a few cheap spells, they're good enough to equal real mercenaries like us." The chemist adjusted his goggles before speaking. "Be fair now, most of them are probably farmboys and hicks who haven't seen a real city in their lives. They'll probably get distracted by the 'purdy geegaws' they see in the item shop and forget all about the Goblins." "No skin off my nose," the mage said in a raspy tone of voice. "More Gil for us, and it means they don't have to run back to Maw and Paw crying." |

Turning around to look at the commotion created by the new arrivals, Raidou frowned when he noticed the Bangaa leading the group. At least the last group seemed okay after they beat him up (He apologized and they accepted), but this one looked like he was going to be an easy one. That axe only served to cement that notion. The party following him didn't seem any better, each of them belittling their group. "I guess not everything goes off without a hitch in this city. I can't see this scenario ending well..." he muttered to himself, hand resting upon the cutlass he carried with him. Compared to their weapons, he might as well have been carrying a wooden sword. It would have given the same idea that he was just an up-and-coming fighter. |

"Say, where are you from anyway? Your countenance alone tells me that you're a foreigner." "Huh?" he asked, temporarily distracted by the female warrior speaking to him. "I guess i'm terrible at hiding it... However, I hail from the land of Ziga. It's a rather quiet nation that recently opened up it's borders to the ousdie world. My recent ventures into this world have been... For a lack of better words, unforgiving." Raidou commented, before rubbing his head. |

When the other group of mercenaries entered, Lufia couldn't help to hear their rude comments. "Excuse me," she said, leaning on the handle of her oversized hammer, "I'd just like to ask why you people talk as if you're better than everyone else collected here." |

"Oh? I'd be very interested in hearing them. I'm something of a collector you see." "A collector of stories? Interesting... I've left Ziga to go off in search of legends and myths outside of Ziga so that I may return with great stories. Thus far, however, i've been unable to locate anything that could be considered remotely legendary or mythological." he shrugged, before looking towards one of their team members. She didn't seem like she would do much... Until she communicated with the unruly warriors. "Excuse me, I'd just like to ask why you people talk as if you're better than everyone else collected here." Listening to this, Raidou heaved a sigh. Looking back to Sendis, he muttered: "I don't like how this is going... My first run-in with a bangaa almost got me killed. That was because of a misunderstanding... But this appears to be something entirely different." |

"Excuse me, I'd just like to ask why you people talk as if you're better than everyone else collected here." "It's a little thing we like to call the 'truth', honey," said the archer as she flipped a lock of raven hair over her shoulder. "Learn to live with it." |

"Actually, I'm a collector of experiences," Sendis explained. "And it certainly seems you have a great wealth of them. Leaving your home. Almost being killed in an altercation with a hostile. It sounds very exciting really," she said brightly. "Hmmm," she grabbed her spear. "Better be ready, this might get bad. I certainly wouldn't want to end up living your Bangaa story so quickly after hearing it." |

"Heh... I guess from your standpoint, they would appear to be exciting. Alright then, i'll attempt to recall as many as I can... Once we're out of danger, anyway." he commented, before taking a step forward towards Lufia. As Sendis made her comment about the Bangaa, he shook his head. "I certainly don't feel like living it again either." "I'll believe you... once we're on the battlefield and I see you and your comrades in action myself. As of now, your words mean nothing to me." Shaking his head, Raidou advanced on Lufia. "Pardon my interruption, miss, but I think it would be a wise idea not to provoke the others. I believe i've seen enough action among the locals for one trip." |

The chemist chortled at the healer's response. "Kids...they're so young and naive that you can almost forgive the ignorance." |

"I'm sorry, but I refuse to back down," Lufia replied to both Raidou and Sendis, "I'll also pass on that drink." She then turned to the chemist and continued speaking, "Yes, you're correct that I don't know who you people are or what you can do. However, doesn't also play in the opposite direction as well? You wouldn't know what I can do either, so there is no way to make a good comparison about who is better or worse." |

"I'm sorry, but I refuse to back down," "*Sigh* At least reconsider who you attempt to strike up conversations with. I rather keep on searching for myths and legends, not go down in history as the man who died because of a bar fight." Raidou spoke, stepping away from Lufia. As he did, the Chemist from the other team cracked a comment. "Kids...they're so young and naive that you can almost forgive the ignorance." Stopping short, Raidou slowly turned around, narrowing his eyes on the Chemist. "Is that what you think? From where i'm standing, the ignorant ones appear to be you. Self-proclaimed veteran warriors cracking wise on upcoming fighters..." he spoke, stepping forward. He tried breaking up the argument, but if they wanted to persist... "Where do you get off berating newcomers instead of helping them?" |
