"Well, despite the arguments here and there," Lufia said, picking up the pace a bit, "We're still all teamed up and have the same objective right now. So yeah, we should probably be trying to figure out how to work togther." "Hey, Tip, is it?" she then said, "I guess I overreacted a bit there. Sorry. The name's Lufia Arcsys and as you should be able to see by my attire, I'm a White Mage." |

"Trust me, They often use the worst pictures possible for those. Someone even as good looking as you would wind up looking like a bum... or worse." Faris smirked and shook her head. "It's only considered your worst picture because nobody wants see their face on a wanted poster..." the woman glanced over, "Except maybe that guy." and a gave a jerk of her thumb towards Zereal. "Your confidence in me is inspiring..." She smiled and looked back at Micerhin. "I have confidence in you... just not fighting that cute little guy." she tilted her head smile turning into a grin. "But yeah, never been too good on dealing with the giant things." At these words, Faris stopped and pouted at Mac. "Giant things? I think you've been doing fine so far..." and moved in front of him. She threw her arms quickly around his neck and pulled him down into her chest, giggling slightly. The Viera released him quickly and turned away once more. The conversing of the other made Faris sigh, but she picked her pace back up. |

"K-Kupek, that isn't something you should announce to the rest of the team, you know..." "I do plan to get lucky in life," the moogle reiterated to Raidou, still unawares of what he was truly saying. Lufia and the others began debating with Tip and the moogle was content to simply listen to them. Looking over to Zereal, he tugged on the drunk's arm. "Say Mr. Z... if you've fought enough Goblins to know they're dumb, do you have any tips for me when we go up against them, kupo?" Kupek may have felt wary of Zereal, but it would be silly to pass on any battle tips a man nicknamed "the crimson blade" would give. At least, he hoped. |

"Yes," Sendis said. "Several of my instructors have given me pointers and the like on fighting Goblins and I've heard innumerable stories of their fights against the Goblins, I'd like to hear what you have to say on the subject." |

"It's only considered your worst picture because nobody wants see their face on a wanted poster..." Micerhin scratched at his chin thoughtfully for a few seconds, "That is true, to an extent. I will say that I've met others who are quite proud of their... 'accomplishments.'" "Except maybe that guy." "...yeah, I'm still not sure what to make of him." Mac raised an eyebrow and shrugged, "He's... different. That's all I can say." "I have confidence in you... just not fighting that cute little guy." Scratching at the back of his head slightly, Micerhin grinned, "Well, it's a good thing I don't have to prove either way, isn't it?" "Giant things? I think you've been doing fine so far..." "What exactly are yo-" Mac tried to ask before finding his head yanked forward towards Faris' body... more specifically, towards her chest. Mac's body froze up slightly, not exactly sure what to do... not because he hadn't been in the situation before, but because his mind was still trying to process the innuendo that had been slid his way. As she released him, Mac laughed softly, speaking low so as not to tick off the mage or Z, "Pardon me for not taking you into account, madamme Faris. I had only accounted for weight and height, not amount..." "I do plan to get lucky in life," "Then always be nice to the women, Kupek," Mac nodded sagely, his eyes closed as if a serene old monk, as he walked up to the Moogle's mekka, "Otherwise, luck won't ever be on your side." |

"Then always be nice to the women, Kupek, Otherwise, luck won't ever be on your side." "Women, kupo?" Kupek looked over his shoulder to Mac in confusion. "Why would...I mean, I wouldn't be mean to women, but how would they help me keep lucky, kupo?" |

Faris glanced back to watch Mac, as he walked up to Kupek. She tilted her head slightly at Micerhin's began to talk with the young moogle; "Then always be nice to the women, Kupek, Otherwise, luck won't ever be on your side." And the Viera looked startled at Kupek's response; "Women, kupo? Why would...I mean, I wouldn't be mean to women, but how would they help me keep lucky, kupo?" She covered her mouth quickly as a sudden burst of giggles erupted from her. "Kupek... I-I think you're missing what Mac is trying to say..." |

"Don't worry about it, you'll understand later." The mekka's head turned to Sendis' direction, then forward, before giving a slow nod. Faris chimed in: "Kupek... I-I think you're missing what Mac is trying to say..." The young moogle looked over to the Viera Thief as she laughed. Puffing his cheeks up, he stomped his mekka angrily forward again. "Well, I'll figure it out for my own soon, kupo! Count on it!" |

I'm sure there's a Lady Luck out there just for you, too." "Well, I'll figure it out for my own soon, kupo! Count on it!" Mac bit his own tongue to prevent himself from commenting on how wrong that sounded, but still laughed inwardly at the comment. |

Tip nods, and reaches over to pat Raidou on the shoulder. "But don't worry too much; unless we're thrown a major plot twist, I'm fairly certain you'll be okay." Leaving those rather strange words of encouragement, he turns back to Lufia and offers his right hand... and then quickly retracts it, having forgotten he was using it to hold his book, and puts out his left. "It is a pleasure, Lufia, although I must say, you do look rather odd swinging around that hammer... are you sure you haven't confused your profession with that of the Barbarians of the Permafrost? A White Mage with such a weapon is practically unheard of!" He gives Lufia a pitying look that rather blatantly says, 'this poor girl is extremely mixed up; she can't even get her profession right!'. |

(The white mage is Lufia. Dani is a Red Mage, and she hasn't talked to tip yet) "You shouldn't rely on fiction so much," Dani said, coming up on the other side. "The academy strongly suggests all white mages learn to use a Mace, for self-defense. That hammer is just a bit heavier than usual." She frowned. "Some cliches exist because they accurately describe trends... but some of those trends have been noticed as problematic and corrected." She looked the man over, more closely. "And even then, I don't think these rules you're making even apply to all fictional situations. There are plenty of stories, even adventures, where none of the main characters dies anywhere near the beginning." In truth, her frustration stemmed from a few sources; she was no great fan of people who claimed to predict the future, and even less so if the predictions were unhelpful and unnecessarily negative. In additions, the man seemed to be actively resisting attempts to widen his perspective, which she couldn't bring herself to agree with - she could barely tolerate it. |

"For that rude comment," Lufia said, not accepting the improper handshake and resisting the urge to club Tip over the head with the non-pointy end of her hammer, "and not even giving your right hand to make a proper handshake... If you ever need healing from me, I'm charging you double my normal fees." |

"Say Mr. Z... if you've fought enough Goblins to know they're dumb, do you have any tips for me when we go up against them, kupo?" "Don't let them swarm you?" Zereal said with a shrug. "To be honest, Goblins aren't really much of a problem individually - a farmer with a hoe or shovel could probably take one on. They're strong, but they lack the brains and attention span to be a real threat, unless they have a more intelligent monster acting as a commander. Even without a leader, given enough numbers they can swarm whatever they want like locusts. That seems to be what's happening here, but I dunno..." Realizing he had trailed off, the red-haired man returned to his train of thought. "Also, just a heads-up, but don't listen to anything they say. The fact that they're dumb and flighty means they say some stuff that'll really confuse the heck out of you...I've actually seen people killed because they were too stunned by a Goblin's nutty rantings to defend themselves." |

"Doesn't sound like you were with anyone very smart, if they were so easily distracted..." Faris said, crossing her arms and moving forward again. "Though, that doesn't surprise me, considering how you were at the bar..." she added quietly. |

Kupek listened carefully as Zereal explained. "Nutty rantings kupo....?" he repeated quietly. He felt a tinge of worry at the back of his mind- would he fall victim to them as well? "Doesn't sound like you were with anyone very smart, if they were so easily distracted..." Kupek frowned. "What do they say that's so odd, kupo? Can you give us an idea?" He looked back to Zereal, ignoring Faris' words. |

Note to self, keep an eye on the rabbit, Zereal thought with a momentary glance towards Faris. In a way he was glad nobody had noticed his "sudden shift" from drunken lout to quiet and confident warrior; he had already overplayed his hand by being so open and not pulling the relapsing alcoholic bit. Regardless, it gave him a chance to observe the group without anyone realizing he was doing it. He had a feeling that her hatred of Goblins, irrational or justified, might cause some trouble. "What do they say that's so odd, kupo? Can you give us an idea?" "Huh?" he said, being pulled back to reality by the armored Moogle's comment. After a second of thought, he shrugged again. "I dunno, just really dumb and off-the-wall things. I think it's a combination of low brainpower and poor understanding of our language. They say things like 'You spoony bard' and think it's a battlecry, or they might say 'This guy are sick!' to warn their friends that they're facing a tough opponent. You know, just really batty stuff." |

"Sounds to be fairly normal male behaviour," The Viera nodded lightly, "See? The knight girl gets it..." She smirked lightly towards Sendis. "I'm guessing you've seen your fair share, right?" Faris blinked before turning her attention towards Mac as he spoke. At his words, the silver haired woman sighed loudly and shook her head at him. "Mac... You're not helping yourself again." |

Sendis chimed in with an answer before Z did: "Probably anything you would hear at a bar fight or from the mouth of any young adolescent male Kupek," Kupek recalled when his brother Kumog got mad at him for stepping on his bottle collection and the young moogle chuckled. He was saying some pretty crazy things then, kupo, he thought. "Huh? I dunno, just really dumb and off-the-wall things. I think it's a combination of low brainpower and poor understanding of our language. They say things like 'You spoony bard' and think it's a battlecry, or they might say 'This guy are sick!' to warn their friends that they're facing a tough opponent. You know, just really batty stuff." The mekka nodded. Now that he understood what to watch out for, Kupek felt his worries ebb away quickly. "It should be no sweat then, kupo." "Sounds to be fairly normal male behaviour," "Hey..." Kupek said quietly in protest. |

"Mac... You're not helping yourself again." Mac grinned sheepishly and laughed, "I suppose you're right." "Sounds to be fairly normal male behaviour," "Hey..." "Sorry. Male human," Micerhin opened his mouth, as if to object in turn, then thought better of it. Shaking his head slightly, Mac instead spoke up with, "...I'd object, but you're probably right with that one." |
