YES, I am too damn lazy to bump the old topic. So I am making the third one......damn alter.

So let's see......what have we this time? The price! 13440 yen! (not sure about the last 3 digits though...)

Let's hope they ACTUALLY get around to releasing this thing....*drools*

Man that looks awesome, but WTF @ the price. Looks like I'm just gonna hold out and hope for Kaiyodo to go back and make a REVOLTECH Arbalest.

I was lulzing at how it was practically switchable for Exia, minus the sword, plus some flying fish fins >_>

Price is too high as usual.

I think I'll get the Special Edition Metal Plated Sazabi for the same 13500 yen instead. Bigger, shinier, Charier.

Non-scale ARX-7 Arbalest by Kotobukiya
Tired of the endless wait for Alter’s Full Metal Panic! ARX-7 Arvalest? or put off by its high price tag?

Well, fret no further because Kotobukiya is releasing its very own version of Arbalest for less then US$10! [ Hobby Search is selling it at 797yen/7.52 USD!. ] And there a release date set for it; 25th October, much better than Alter’s ‘Winter 08′.

This Arbalest is a non-scale and stands approximately 15cm all, consisting of 50 parts.

I’ve thought of getting this but the ball joints from it are nothing compared to our usual gunpla joint which worries me. But its pricing at less than $10 might just be the deal-breaker for me to grab this. I’ll just wait a little longer when this dude reach my local hobby shop before deciding where or not to buy it.

So are you gonna pick up Kotobukiya’s Arbalest this October or are you going to sit back & wait for Alter’s Arvalest a little longer?

*Update (26/12/08): Alter 1/60 ARX-7 Arbalest has been now set for May 2009

since my previous post could not be edited I wanted to say that by May 09 kotobukiya is releasing a 144 scale of the Arbalest and they are also planning on releasing the "Venom" type Slave Arm unit as seen here (unless it's a scratch built type)
i'll try to provide more info on it as possible (unless this is "old"news like some people tell me when i'm out of loop)

Why do you keep posting the same freaking thing with such a big gap of time in between? ...

........dude, that's a Laevatein, not a Venom. >_>

Also, those aren't even Koto kits either, they are some figures released way back a year or two ago, IIRC. Koto is planning to release M9s, yes, but not Venom or Laevatein.

Yeah, you are very out of the loop.

Not really, but 1 hour and 4 minutes certainly is.
