I saw "Eagle Eye". Thrillers aren't my type of movie, but I thought this was pretty good and pretty exciting. It really is a mishmash of old ideas from Big Brother to America becoming a surveillance state to dangerous AIs to a man being forced into a situation he didn't ask for. However, it's actually a well done mishmash of old ideas.

The movie gets major points for its plot revelation 3/4 into the movie being unexpected. It really does make the movie and IMO, makes it superior to some of its predecessors in terms of movies with similar themes.

They actually have a surprising plot twist? Okay, now I'm interested.

I wouldn't call it a "OMG shocker!" And maybe it isn't even a twist. But to say a little without revealing too much, the goal of the "Eagle Eye" is strangely amusing.

Sadly I’ve seen more people say that the plot is unintelligent and predictable.

I still want to see it myself, but there are to many disappointed people so far to have me as excited as I was.

Still, I liked the new Mummy movie and a lot of people said the same things about it plus calling it cheesy. I still have hope.

It was still fun to watch. Super bonus fun points if you like certain kinda-a-spoiler-if-you-think-about-it-for-a-second
Valve games.

Saw Midnight Meat Train, fun slasher(smasher?)/thriller flick with a bit of an over the top twist and a name that sounds like all male porn, but it was freakin' fun. Seeing the main character pretty much go insane after helping someone which in turn killed her was a decent build up. Most of the CG'd gore was over the top, but it's better than the standard direct to SciFi movie that I've been delving myself into for the past couple weeks.

Also, cleanest subway complex ever. I wish New York was like this place.

I was kind of hoping to get that just so I could deal with the older people’s complaints over what they think the movie’s title suggests.

Max Payne was really pretty. oO;

There is a scene after the credits.

There are really only three action sequences and it takes a long time to get to them. Nothing great other than watching people fly from shotgun hits.

I expect it of the SNK Avatars. I didn't expect it from Fallout.

Actually, it's not so bad... just make sure you don't take more than 6 or so lines :P that seems to be where it lined up.

Haven't seen a movie in a while (just to stay on topic) and nothing is really catching my interest. But I still want to see Wall-E :P might catch it this weekend or something...

You know we still have the Wall-e standee up at my theater. It’s just been sitting there. I’m not even sure if anyone is aware that it is still around.

I know it’s my responsibility to take it down, but I can’t find it in my heart to destroy a 4-foot Wall-e. It's just to cute.

That thing is taller than I am and significantly larger.

I can’t even think of a place for it. I wish I could though.

I said the same thing when I finally saw it... I laughed especially hard when Racer X flipped his car up in order to punch the other driver in the face. XD
