I love brain crack, but Temple had more in than just crack. ><

Indy: Aha!
(sets self up for pain and misery)
Indy: Haha! I still got away suckers!
(sets self up for pain and misery)
Indy: Ah, what the hell, she is kinda cute...
(sets self up for pain and misery)
Indy: I really should just stick my cock in her mouth to shut her up...
(doesn't do so so sets up for pain and misery)
Indy: Meh, I'll forget that I should be skilled at handling traps and walk right into the only one in the entire movie...
(sets self up for pain and misery)
Indy: I'll be discreet by bringing two mouth breathers along with me to evil ceremony!
(sets self up for pain and misery)

Then the Thuggees use crazy Kali power to keep someone alive after ripping their heart out, so they'll burn them alive then... which does the trick... and everyone goes ape shit for it.... Then there was stuff about power of friendship or fire can cure all brain washing, a mine cart chase, and the world is wonderful again. I didn't even know the movie was supposed to be bad until I watched it... Sunday.

I actually liked Temple of Doom, but I didn’t like it nearly as much as the other two Indiana Jones movies.

Short Round amused me greatly though. I'm going to have to look at imdb and see what happened to the little bastard.

EDIT: Looks like he got an education and is working occasionally in editing, sound, and some action choreography assistance.

Speed Racer bombed hard. It lasted a week in Bahrain. No traces of it in Dubai either. I liked it. It was shiny. >.>

Been forever since I watched the Indy trilogy. I wanted to watch it before watching this one. I thought it was OK. Somewhat disappointing.

What Shin said, but without the 'somewhat'.

Watched Narnia. Did not like it. Other than Eddie Izzard parts. At best, a meh movie. I think the first one was better and I'm not sure there's gonna be a third one. While I don't remember much from the Narnia stories, I don't remember they were this lame. Or maybe they were.

Hal Jordan 4tw!!!

For everyone who's gonna complain about Hal Jordan being lame, he's not, remember Green Lantern was going to be a comedy with Low.. Jack Black. >.>

The third Narnia book was being filmed simultaneously with the second one, though they said they currently don't have plans to do any of the other books yet.

Woah, they mentioned the EU! Fail for not mentioning Anakin though. They had twins, and then another kid... who promptly got Yuuzhan Vong'd after becoming insanely powerful in the Force. So yeah, only Jacen and Jaina really managed to save the universe.

EDIT: And I would SO watch Machine Girl. XD DRILL BRA! TEMPURA!

Bah!

Kyle > ALL!

And Hal > Kilowog >>> John and Guy :P

Saw Narnia on the weekend too... it was pretty "meh". Decent enough to watch, but lacking. It didn't really seem that epic... the first was definitely better. And even then, neither did justice to the books.

Wait, the first Narnia movie was better than this one? The epic fantasy movie that came off like a bad comedy was better than something?

lol well... to each their own, as always. But yeah... the second movie has its moments, but overall, the first was better.

I guess, unless you're really interested, don't bother seeing Caspian if you hated the first movie.

There was nothing epic about the second movie. Made me notice how annoying the actors were.

What the hell? I thought Thomas Jane was awesome (other than maybe too pretty to be Frank), what is up with the change?

Oh well, at least Thomas Jane will be Mitch Hunter in the Mutant Chronicles movie. I can't wait for that movie. ^_^

He said he couldn't wait forever for a movie that looked like it wasn't ever gonna get made, so he dropped it a few months before the new one was announced.

I'm pretty sure I mentioned it before. Both Hulk and Punisher are ignoring the earlier movies and have new actors. IMO, Thomas Jane was The Punisher. I expected the sequel to be done in 6 months - 1 year max. I don't blame him.

Quint,

I’m writing to tell you that I regretfully and painfully had to pull out of P2. I can’t tell you how completely broken up I am about it. After busting my ass at the gym four days a week for almost two years, watching every character driven action pic that any fan would ask me to watch while I was standing in line buying egg whites and Tuna fish (Leon the Professional, Oldboy, The Seven-Ups (GREAT flick), Point Blank, Escape from NY, The Driver, Magnum Force, The Mechanic, The Great Silence, Sexy Beast, Nighthawks, Cry Vengeance (check it out), Road Warrior, Man on Fire, Outlaw Josey Wales, Rocky (think about it), Serpico, etc etc etc.) after countless Saturday nights making notes and drinking soda water and munching on seaweed sticks while my daughter slept on my lap to the sound of automatic gunfire, (now she can’t sleep without it. I had to make a tape of automatic gunfire to play in her room at night) after hauling myself to any ‘Guns! Knifes! Ammo!’ show in any small town that I found myself in shooting Killshot or The Mist or Mutant Chronicles, after torn ligaments, screwed up rotator cuffs, thousands of $$$ on ridiculously huge vitamins, overly long conversations with frighteningly tall men about The Fastest Way To Kill Someone With Your Bare Hands, and after a dude refused to sell me a Fatburger at 2am on Santa Monica Blvd, I am, sadly – no, make that heartbrokenly – fuck it - just rip out the heart and stomp it into the pavement a couple of times – pulling out. Punisher fans are already fighting an uphill battle as it is. And I’ve always felt a responsibility to fight that fight for them and with them so that Frank Castle gets the treatment he deserves.

I'm sharing this with you because I know you're a fan, like me, and you've got your ear to the ground, and because we seem to share the same sort of taste and passion when it comes to movies and stories that get us off. What I won't do is spend months of my life sweating over a movie that I just don't believe in. I’ve always loved the Marvel guys, and wish them well. Meanwhile, I’ll continue to search for a film that one day might stand with all those films that the fans have asked me to watch.

Sincerely,
Thomas Jane

Well, Mutant Chronicles cast list does not suck. Odd having Inspector Detector as Steiner, but it works for me.

I still break out the Siege of the Citadel game sometimes.

That guy does not look or sound like The Punisher to me. Thomas Jane was perfect, and this guy is... gravel throat, or something.

He's Garth Ennis Punisher. The extreme kind you can't feel sympathy for that only Garth Ennis fans like to read. And I don't think he smokes em, he eats them.

I'm really gonna miss Jane's Frank.

On a slightly different note, Kung Fu Panda was great.
