All I gotta say about the real world parts is LOL @ the fucking Bostonian guido.

Also, being a former Kung-Fu/Wuxia student myself, it was nostalgic seeing him struggling with Ma Bu (Horse Stance) and Jet Li making fun of him doing it. Back when I was taking classes (more than a decade ago) my Si Fu (sp?) would make us do Ma Bu and Gong Bu for like the first 30 min of class, one time putting a hot cup of tea on a saucer on our knee (during gong bu or bow stance) and we had to make sure we didn't spill any. I remember my legs being so sore after class every day.

*shivers at the reminder himself*

Your teacher sounds about as bad as mine was. We all ended up HATING Horse Stance. XD

EDIT:

Jackman doesn't mind making 11 Sniktbub movies. >.>
http://moviesblog.mtv.com/2008/04/29/hugh-...-talks-sequels/

I want to see his new movie. But 10 more Sniktbub movies? I think he has fully embraced what it means to be Sniktbub. XD

Hancock should be fun, though after hearing how the movie's original script was set-up, I'm a little less enthusiastic than I was before. Still, seeing Will Smith as a drunken, superpowered ass oughtta be good for a couple hours of entertainment.

Didn't know much about the movie but from this trailer it looks fun. XD

Apparently the original script was something more of a morality tale, where Hancock basically remains the drunken bum the whole movie, and the focus is more on how his influence allows the guy who's trying to improve his image to become more of a man.

Sniktbub could be interesting... but FarCry trailer reminds me of the Postal trailer. Only it takes itself seriously. XD

We can only hope. But he's gotten this far I'm not sure what can stop him.

Watched Forbidden Kingdom. Wanted to like it but couldn't. It was OK.

Tyrese Gibson as Mr. T and Luke Cage???

CS/SHH!: You'll also be back for "Transformers 2" ・How will your character evolve?
Gibson: Well, I can't spill any of the beans though that was a smooth transition. But I just talked to Shia [LaBeouf] and left Jon Voight [a message] about fifteen minutes ago. I'm excited. Michael Bay is really going to try and up the ante on round two and take it to a whole other level. I can't go into any detail, but it's going to be some real one-of-a-kind things going on in this movie that no one has ever visually seen in their life. Michael Bay is really fired up and trying to outdo what he did on the first round and I'm just honored to be a part of it.

Meaning that his character wont evolve, and will remain as two dimensional as ever because Bay is too busy with his shinies. XD

Luke Cage news is cool though. Hopefully Tyrese can pull it off. I don't think I've seen him in anything required any solid acting; not to say I thought he was bad or anything, but his character wasn't really that important in the first Transformers movie, for instance.(although he was still more important than most of the Autobots and Decepticons... >_<)

I just realized the downside of this. Isn't there some sort of German law that will allow him, personally, to make millions of dollars off this dud?

XD The world is filled with turmoil right now with all these game movies.

There's

LOL Dragonball (I don't have much of a comment, other than super lolz @ pic)
Postal (I doubt it'll be as funny as 2, but that's ok, people dying is funny)
Far Cry (It just might make people cry)
Max Payne (I hope it's as noir as the games)

The first two I'm willing to see out of sheer lulz to be had, and the third I'll probably never touch but someone will whine at me about it. The fourth I'll probably skip unless it's actually good (fat chance).

Also, lulz were had. It's like one of those emo lens flare photoshops, only with a budget and international brand tag. And just as bad, really.

Prince Caspian did not suck. The first movie did nothing for me. I liked this one other than I thought Peter and Caspian were going to take their dicks out and compare sizes/fence with them/see who could pee the farthest/or just wrestle until one nailed the other since they first met. Jesus symbolism was a little ham fisted this time too... had quite a few moments of Jesus dickery though which amused me.

Otherwise a fun, occasionally dark, fantasy romp. The critters looked better this time too. Warwick Davis as an evil worshipping dwarf was win.

It's better? Good. The first one sucked horribly. *laughs at the memory of the minotaur's goat noise that rallied his troops* Seriously, that movie was impossible to take seriously. Especially after Santa showed up. Santa =/= Heroic Fantasy.

Actually a couple of the Minotaurs get some good moments here. The critters definitely looked better in this one even though the centaurs still look a little off.

Actually, I forgot to mention the best part of the movie. Eddie Izzard voices this fucked up ninja knight squirrel who steals every scene he shows up in.

Apparently Prince Caspian bombed. I didn’t see it for myself as I was in Chicago all weekend, but I was told that barely anyone showed up to it over the weekend at my theater and this scene was repeated all over the US.

It seems that Iron Man was the busiest film we had for a third week in a row. The new Indiana Jones film should top it though.

Prince Caspian was #1 for the weekend and did a somewhat respectable $56.6 million in opening weekend but it was predicted to be $80 million.

Speed Racer is just under $30 million for its entire run so far. Iron Man did better than that over the weekend with $31.2 million. Iron Man has $222.5 million total.

I never really looked forward to Speed Racer...

*shrug*

It just doesn't interest me... ironic considering I like motorsports <_< but yeah...

But I DO still need to see the new Indiana Jones movie >_< still haven't had a chance...

I dug Speed Racer. It is a bunch of beautiful eye crack with some neat editing. Frankly that can be enough for me to enjoy a movie.

I'm definitely looking forward to Indy this weekend... even though I only watched Raiders and Temple of Doom for the first time over the weekend. Should hopefully see Last Crusade before Thursday. >>

I thought I was crazy for wanting to go see the 3am showing of the new Indiana Jones film. I guess I’m not alone. At least 4 people I know are already planning to do it and a 5th is thinking about it.

Temple of Doom wasn't that bad. It just wasn't as good as the other two. *rips out GT's heart and drops him down some kind of weird rollercoaster to hell*
