I think the Aestivalis Custom looks better than the Black Selena. ... and I think the Black Selena would have looked better if they didn't bother with the Aestivalis Custom part of it. >> |

You didn't mention that it has the High Mobility armor, cyber. o_o;; It looks alright to me, but I'm not an exceptional BS fan so I'll probably pass. |

LOL, well I've never seen Prince of Darkness (I just know that the Black Selena is from the movie), and I've never used Black Selena in any SRW I've played, so I really didn't know it's capabilities. |

Posted Image That's the High Mobility Black Selena. It's mainly just for getting to places quickly, at which point it purges the extra armor down to the standard Black Selena and enters combat. |

The "getting to places quickly" thing is moot considering it can Bozon Jump when piloted by Akito >_> Teleport > Thrusters XD |

I thought the HM's only purpose was to make the BS more broken in SRW games. :/ |

Yes, the "getting to places quickly" part is redundant due to Bozon Jump by Akito and the Black Selena itself, but the thrusters still serve a key purpose so I won't rule define which is superior in general. Teleportation has the speed to get from A to B, true. But it doesn't have propulsion, something that is vital to allow the High Mobility Black Selena to attack. If the Black Selena only has the Bozon Jump after it purges its high mobility add-on, it would be stuck with only its weaker ranged weapons as it doesn't have the thrust to allow itself to ram into its target for massive damage. Meaning it would not even have ways to defend itself while its High Mobility part is on, thus making the part in question just as redundant if it didn't have thrusters anyway. That would be the design and concept perspective. But from a fan's perspective, it is like watching a giant robot perform time-space acrobatics while kicking ass. And that's awesome. |

I don't see how the ramming part is even related, considering the normal Gekigan Flare works great without ZOMGBEUG thrusters. |

It's got propulsion of some kind no less, didn't it? |

Yeah, the normal Aesties' ones. Big thruster don't mean much when you achieve the same effect because of the nature of the Distortion Field. |

Because Akito turned emo several years too late. It was only thanks to GGG that his humanity was restored at the very least. GGG, **** YEAH! |

It LOOKS like it's around 1/100, but I think it's MSiA size. |

Yeah. Which made me wonder if it was actually 1/60 (no scale) or the "standard" MSiA size. |

Not sure what scale it is, but I know for sure it isn't any kind of kit. It's a shoot off of the Soul of Chogokin line of toys which are basically diecast metal premade toys. This picture gives an idea of the size. Aestevalis is 9 cm tall by itself, Black Selena is 15 cm, and with the high mobility parts it's 26 cm long (I'm guessing that's from the head to the tail). I remember the Aerial Frame I build years ago was 1:40 or something... If I remember correctly. Edit: Scale is 1:48, and actual size of model stands around 20 to 25 cm. |

My reason for asking is because almost all kits by Bandai are either 144s or 1/100s basic and few make 1/60s and MGs and rare PGs |
