That last pictured looked pretty good for me. Not the best but it is still in the early phases of being made. |

I'm a tad confused about how Street Fighter 4 is supposed to take place between Street Fighter 2 and Street Fighter 3. And WTF @ Shen Long being a potential character. o_O |

What's wrong with it taking place between 2 and 3? |

Well, nothing...except that it's 4. I may suck at math, but I at least know that it doesn't go 2-4-3. |

Maybe 4 is just a placeholder and they change the name later? And i'm glad it's before SF3, I wasn't all too fond of the cast. |

SF3 had great mechanics, but the cast was half boring, half Darkstalker rejects. And I'm somewhat disappointed that Parrying is out. No clue on this Revenge system, tho. |

Then you probably wouldn't care for the Devil May Cry franchise. It meanders along at 3-1-2-4. |

Was just about to say that as well. But actually, the canon and official order is 3-1-4-2. With the anime between 1 and 4. |

After the anime events technically. Aside from DMC 3->1, it's not stated how much time passes by. All that's known is that DMC2 take place long after any of the other games. |

And apparently Dante's coolness disappeared over age as evidenced by DMC2 |

Cell-shaded 2D makes me happy, but I wish the designs looked more like what we saw in the cinema. They look less stylized and more...cartoony, I guess. Still, there's plenty of time before it releases, and I'm anxious to see how this plays. |

I would like to see SF4 stylized like it was in the 1st trailer. It was different and somewhat interesting. But I'm also not going to complain too much about how it looks now. |

Anyone else watch the 1up Show? They had a segment running through it where one of their staff members was bugging everyone who say the game in action for information, and they kept turning him down because of the gag order by Capcom. It ended with another editor promising him an 'exclusive video', which the audience doesn't see, but was both traumatizing and 'not Street Fighter, dude!' according to the guy. XD |

I don't generally pay much attention to 1up. Then, I don't really pay much attention to ANY review programs, since they all invariably piss me off. |

Well the 1up Show isn't really reviews... more previews. They had a lot of exclusive Mass Effect stuff going up to the release, for instance. This week they talked about Unreal for a while, and why they didn't like the newest game. Then they went into Dark Sector, and talked about why it looks promising. They wrapped up with Devil May Cry 4, and how awesome it is. |

Ah, gotcha. Like I said, I don't watch shows or even go to websites like that any more, because they invariably invoke my Nerd Rage over something stupid. So, I just sorta steer clear of all of them and their opinions. XD On another point, here's hoping we finally get Mike Haggar in the game!! |

Looks good... but at the moment, it also looks like a carbon-copy of the last Street Fighter II. Here's hoping they keep the damned parrying system - or come up with something better. |

Maybe you should watch the interview, S3. XD Anyway, the parrying system is gone, the 'saving' system is in. Basically, as you deal damage, you build up a standard Super meter, and as you take damage/block, you build up your Revenge meter. The Super meter allows you to do, well, Supers, and if you build up 3 of the 4 bars of your Revenge meter, you can upgrade your Super into an Ultra. Revenge can also be used to enhance standard Specials into EX Specials, and if you use more of the meter, into unblockable, invincibility frame attacks. It's got a heavy offensive focus, as you can probably tell. |

I'm all for anything that rewards offense. I loved smashing turtlers with overheads in Alpha 2 and got disappointed that Alpha 3 seemed to favor turtling more. >< |
