The model itself looks good overall, But the FAITH emblem just looks ugly as hell. Clashes with the rest of the suit in that area. Also with the ZAFT on the shoulder in black.

Nice! Hopefully they decide to throw in the Wings of Light in a Special Edition or something, kinda like the Dragoon Effect Parts from the Strike Freedom.

honestly though im supprised that Gunota hasn't said anything about this yet.

So that rumor that Destiny and Force Impulse have been given the green light for Master Grade kits is at least partially true eh? I'm not really a big fan of Destiny Gundam, but I am interested to see how BEE-CRAFT tweaks the design (like they did for the MG Strike Freedom).

....I thought 101 was Crossbone X3....?

The arms look A LOT different than the original design......is it really the actual MG design? O.o

It is. The armor on the fore arms isn't as blocky as the normal destiny and is more curvy and sleek. the arm in general has some alterations to it as well.

While I would DROOL and PRAISE Bandai if they MG 101 truly turns out to be Destiny... that second pic of the Destiny Gundam model is a custom mod, seen in a hobby show months beforehand. :(

Yeah, that "Dannychoo.com" tag on the bottom of the picture made me realize that wasn't the MG Destiny.

Huh.....I knew it, it just looks too radically different for a MG design.

Uh, who is "they" ?

Bandai displayed an unrelated resin conversion Turn-A to promote the MG Turn-A, but where did they say that the Dannychoo Destiny had anything to do with the lineart with the MG101 on it?

they = the person who posted the pics side-by-side without explanation on another forum, who did the same with the Turn-A situation.

Turn A was Bandai's fault. They were using some random fan kit because they didn't have a prototype for the MG at that point. You could even see the official Bandai lineart in the background. <_<

At least we do have hope for the MG 101 being Destiny... supposedly that first pic Homeless provided is from the Road to MG 100 DVD included in the Char's Gelgoog 2.0. Waiting for confirmation, but if this is true then we have our Destiny MG :D

From Gunota.

MG Destiny
The special DVD which the stores are giving away with a purchase of MG kits have revealed the 101st MG kit to be Destiny Gundam. It is scheduled for a fall release.

I still don't get the attraction behind Destiny. Everything it can do, something else can do better. Long range? S-F. Melee? I-F. Shining Finger? God Gundam >_>

Edit: I meant I-J. Lawl Infinite Freedom.

I don't either, but it still seems immensely popular. To me it was the most lacking of the 4 main final Gundams. The only thing that intrigues me about the MG Destiny is that it provides parts for a possible kit bash 1/100 Destiny Impulse.

Destiny is only weak when you completely ignore that it's proportional to the "stronger" suits. i.e. SF and IJ are completely broken and shouldn't logically exist in their own universe.

I don't even understand where you get off comparing it to God Gundam. In that case, Turn A is better than SF.

From that lineart the MG will end up looking pretty nice. The "buffer" look actually makes the Destiny look better to me.

LOL @ having to pay extra for "Wings of Light" effects parts. Though I have to say that it actually sounds worth it. Unlike the bling bling parts and plastic straws that came with the Hi-MAT Full Burst MG Strike Freedom. Will be cool if they happen to include effects parts for the palm beam cannons as well.

Won't be buying this one myself, since I'm not a fan of the Destiny Gundam, but I think Destiny Gundam fans will be thrilled with this release. I'm still crossing my fingers for a MG I really really want (Infinite Justice, Heavyarms, Tallgeese I-III, X-Divider, either of the Victory Gundams, or a Gouf 2.0).
