SPIDERS GONNA SPIDE

(thanks to Aku for the pic)

Drillipede: A 60m segmented mechanoid shaped in a roughly serpentine fashion. It's primary attacks involve using the drills mounted on it's head and forearms to penetrate an opponent's armor, as well as using the spines lining it's body to attack by slashing with it's tail. For long-range fire it equips micromissile launchers across it's length, and has a series of spiked buzzsaws mounted on it's front underside to crush anything that gets underneath it's upper body.

How many of the Drillpedes have we taken out already?

I know Steyr and Caine finished off theirs...

I know Al and Gina killed theirs...

I think Kaina finished hers...

I think Nobue and Arc finished their respectful ones...

Not sure if the one those Gespensts Diah sent after was killed by the Shirogane...

Based off of everyone's posts, I'm gonna say there are now (including the ones that just appeared in Dakar) 12 Drillipedes left.

Zephyr and Bree finished one... (Using all their Micromissiles, the two have to learn saving ammo...)

Why bother with keeping kill counts? Its just going to lead up to excessive bitching. Not to rain on the party, but the amount of kills X character was getting kinda led to bitching from Y player in A@. I personally would prefer to leave that issue out, but that's not for me to call, is it?

Good point... Well I won't do it publically, but I do it to keep track of what's left in a fight and what isn't. However, if it bothers someone, i'll stop.

I agree. Kill counts isn't terribly important; the story and interaction are what's important. So, I really wouldn't worry about that much.

Mass-Production GR-2

Based off of the infamous mechanoid once piloted by Cervantes the Magnificent, one of the Big Fire elite, this heavily-armored mecha is designed to function equally well in both land and aquatic combat. It's forearms serve as a powerful Turbine Rocket Punch attack, while the eyes contain laser emitters. The mecha is also capable of launching torpedoes in the water that are capable of penetrating armor with ease, making them fearsome enemies for any opponent.

Mass-Production GR-3

Posted Image

While the GR-2 was intended for primarily aquatic and land combat, the GR-3 was designed exclusively for battle in the air. Resembling a humanoid with large, razor-sharp wings strapped to it's back, this model foregos the GR-2's heavy armor in favor of speed and agility. It's primary weapons are swarms of metal shards that it can hurl at a target by flapping it's wings (think Marvel's Archangel), machine guns mounted in it's fingers, and the flaming breath it spits from it's mouth, which has a temperature capable of melting steel. It also possesses retractable birdlike talons on it's feet that it uses in melee combat, should the need arise.

BTW, the Starwind is actually prolly not going to do much more unless a GR-3 goes at it... They figured out that they attracted a bit too much attention from killing the one GR-2 and don't know if they can take many hits if they decided to return fire.

So, should you swap the feather blades in the profile for machinegun hands? Or just add the machinegun hands in?

No, adding them in. The blades were only ever shown once in the manga, but I liked that idea so I kept them. Problem is, no actual profile was ever made that I could find for it, and that pic form the OAV is the only one I can find, since none of the manga seems to be available online that I can find.

Alberto the Impact

One of the infamous "Magnificent 10", Alberto is feared as one of the most dangerous human beings alive. Serving as one of Big Fire's elite commanders, this man is feared nearly as much as his master, both for his ruthless cunning, and for his tremendous power. Alberto's name comes from his ability to create massive shockwaves of force that are capable of leveling buildings with a single blast. The overall limits to his power are unknown, but he has proven capable of destroying mobile suits by himself, and once stood toe-to-toe with an Angel over 40m high without flinching.

Ivan the Terrible

Another of the "Magnificent 10" and personal aide to Alberto himself, Ivan is a competent, loyal, and utterly amoral man. Ivan's talents include phenomenal speed and reflexes, enabling him to outmaneuver entire battalions of soldiers and their weapons with ease.

Posted Image

Ko Enshaku

Virtually nothing is known of this masked individual, save that his voice is almost never heard, and he seems to be one of only two people that Alberto holds any sort of fear of. Ko Enshaku seldom enjoys a fair fight, preferring to use his ability to meld with shadows and disappear to catch opponents off-guard, while then utilizing the vast array of weapons and ninja-style tricks in his repertoire to deliver a sudden, painful death to any who face him.
