No, Atlus doesn't suck...Banpresto does. Y'see, shortly after OG1 was released here, one of Atlus' people did an interview. In it, he commented that BP basically sat on their shoulders throughout the translation process and held the priviledge of the last word on everything. Therefore, he said, you shouldn't lynch Atlus for things like "Man in the Dark", Dygenguard, Sleigh, and the other odd translations; it's all BP. |

Seriously? That's even worse, considering now I've got to live with "Beowulf", despite the two hundred times I've argued against it. Great. Oh yeah, "Sleigh" sucks too. The irony award goes to Ouka Genei. |

Was it really all Banpresto though? I read the same interview, and while that does seem like a likely excuse, we haven't seen anything from Banpresto to prove it. IIRC on the official blog they even complained about some of the seishin choices before OG1 came out, didn't they? It doesn't really matter though... Names and songs aren't really to big of a deal. >>; |

That's because you set your standards too low. Unlike you, I'm not settling for a bad name change... because I can understand it in the first place. Gahahahaha! *roasts pig* |

Good for you, RGG. Shouldn't you be busy making crappy Shiro jokes instead of making even crappier threads like this? |

Beowulf was in the original name in Impact, RGG. Good job there lol I do agree that "Man in the Dark" is all sorts of suck though. Why change English... into different English? |

Considering "Kotetsu no Korou" is the theme used in OG2, I don't see how your twisted logic makes sense - Beowulf refers to his Shadow Mirror counterpart, not himself. |
