...

Mao felt a blush burst onto her face as Ryu's pants fell, his boxers only a couple feet from her eyes.

And then her sister coming in... wonderful. Sighing, she stood up and crossed her arms again, trying to not pay attention to her sister coming in unannounced.

"Toss 'em in the hamper too."

"How many times is this now?"

It had taken him a long time, but eventually, he managed to find the pizza shop. The spicy ramen had filled him up better than he thought, so he decided to order only one slice. At least it saved him a little bit of cash. The rest of the money would go to the fund of buying himself a new motorcycle to ride around Tokyo on. Exitting the pizza shop, he looked down the street to find the auto motors sign.

"May as well check up on the latest motorcycles. If i'm lucky, they won't have sold the one I really like." he said, as he bit into his pizza, before walking down the street. The city seemed to be full of alot of interesting things... At least he knew the future was looking better for him. He moved from the America's to see all the sights in Japan, and honestly, things weren't looking as bad as his friends told him.

"The military is pretty good, the food is okay, and the people are nice... If a little pig-headed." he thought, remember the other 2 Americans he saw earlier. Pushing that thought out of his head, he arrived at the auto motors place, and looked inside. Unfortunately for him, he saw no sign of the motorcycle he saw a week earlier...

"Aww man... They sold it... Not fair." he sighed, as he turned around and walked to the edge of the street, before sitting down on the ground to finish eating.

"Chai tea, if that's ok."

"Okay~! We get you soon~!" responded the waitress cheerfully as she struck a pose.

Hiro opened the menu and began searching. It was full of Engrished dishes and attempted clever names for piles of chicken in all sorts of flavors with the Japanese names written under them.

"This place is great. It might seem kind of weird with all the forced English, but the food is amazing and the show is even better."

The owner of the restaurant, Missy Viola, was an accomplished dancer. Every night she and the servers put on an amazing show for the customers. The spectacle and technique left everyone who saw it dazzled. It was truly a great experience.

"Oh, and order whatever you'd like. Don't hold back at my expense."

He was in a joyful mood.

Forever "That Guy"

Ranfan's mouth continued to work for a moment before she finally managed to gather her mind and assess ths situation. Her sister was kneeling on the ground, and the guy she had kissed at the arcade was standing in front of her, after Mao had just pulled his pants down.

Rational thought failed her again and she just stared.

Then, finally, her brain kicked in. Keeping her voice low so as not to wake the household, she hissed. "What exactly are you two doing in here?!"

"Toss 'em in the hamper too."

"I...." he looked over at the shocked Ranfan, and at Mao. What was that about a rock and a hard place? Ryuji thought idly, before tossing the pants into the hamper.

"Come on man, you and I both know I have less of a reason to give you my name then the last joker."

"Alright, fair enough, I apologize."

"...And a lesser woman would've just kicked that douchebag in the groin...repeatedly."

"Ah another good point. Hey, want me to pay your bill? If I do, will I find out your name?"

"From what I can see, the lady does not want your company. If you will be so considerate as to leave her alone, I'm sure she would appreciate it."

Zhongfu had walked out at this time primarily since he hadn't eaten all day, and he'd remembered that just as he reached his hotel room. He was now wearing a pair of jeans, a red t-shirt, and a jacket made of the same material as jeans. Taking a seat next to Motoko, he called the waiter over.

"I'll have a bowl of beef ramen, please. Thank you."

"I don't see what's the importance of knowing my name." Motoko said as she finished the last of her ramen. "It's not like you're hitting on me or anything."

"From what I can see, the lady does not want your company. If you will be so considerate as to leave her alone, I'm sure she would appreciate it."

"Amen." Picking up her bowl, she drank down the soup that remained and then set down the bowl. "I'll have a beef ramen too, please. With as many cuts as you can top on it."

"Too bad. I would had loved to know your name. Well, I must take my leave. Hey chef! Here's the payment for my bowls!" Ryuhou said as he gave some bills to the chef then left the house to his apartment. He fell onto the bed and sweet slumber followed.

As the strange man left, Motoko sighed and looked over at Zhongfu. Blinking, she smiled. "Hey, I recognize you!" She said. "You're the applicant I put at the top of the pile!"

"Hey, I recognize you! You're the applicant I put at the top of the pile!"

As he was in the middle of eating his ramen, he turned his face sideways to face Motoko. Quickly slurping up the strands of noodle that were in his mouth, he gulped it down before replying. Giving a slight bow, he greeted her.

"It is a pleasure to see you again, officer. So how are you doing?"

"Eh...you saw." She replied as she recieved her bowl of ramen. "I'm fighting them off with a pointy stick."

She began eating. "What about you?"

"What about you?"

Looking up, he briefly flashed back to what had happened earlier that night.

[Bats, bats, and more bats. Feeling a bit drained, with the transforming and all...]

Twisting the truth a bit, he turned back to Motoko and gave his reply, with a sort of weak smile on his face.

"I'm a bit tired. My sensei sent me to Japan for some training with a friend. I just finished training against various... flying objects, and I'm a bit tired, so I came to grab a bite to eat before going back to my hotel room to rest."

"Flying objects. Boy if you saw the flying objects I had to deal with..." Motoko thought to herself. She then chuckled.

"So wait," she asked, "You're not from around here?"

"So wait," she asked, "You're not from around here?"

Nodding to Motoko, he then looked back at his bowl of ramen, which was still steaming a bit.

"My name is Zhongfu, family name Wang. I am a disciple of Ma Yu of the Complete Perfection School in China. So no, I am not from around here. Is my Japanese that good?" he said, chuckling a bit.

"The name's Motoko, family name Rolland."

"Interesting name. So, where are you from? Your last name doesn't seem to be of Japanese origin." he asked, before picking up his chopsticks and grabbing a piece of beef, which he began to chew on.

"I was born here, my father is an American Marine and my mother a Tokyo Police Officer. They met when he was on leave her, and he had gotten arrested for causing a fight." She laughed. "My mother was the one who arrested him."

Motoko quickly plucked another piece of beef and some noodles from her ramen before slurping both down.

"My mother was the one who arrested him."

Swallowing the food in his mouth, Zhongfu gave a bit of a laugh.

"That's rather amusing! Well, as for me, when I was little, I learned my martial arts base from a few of my relatives, though when I was 10, they sent me to the Complete Perfection School to learn more. When I got there, it took me a while before I managed to fit in. I always took longer than everyone else in studying the theories of the school's martial arts styles, but I managed to perform the styles better than everyone else in the long run."

"Those who put a greater effort usually get better results." Motoko replied. "So, Zhongfu, what brings you here to this hustling, bustling city?"

"So, Zhongfu, what brings you here to this hustling, bustling city?"

"Well, like I said before, I was sent over here to meet with a friend of my sensei to hone my martial arts skills. He's well learned in many styles, so I'm looking forward to learning from him."

[Gee, talk about stretching the truth. Eh, Zhongfu?]
[What did you want me to tell her? That I have a world to save, according to a shape-shifting artifact?]
[Point taken. Carry on.]

Quickly finishing his ramen, he turned to Motoko.

"Is it fun? Being an officer and all?"

"How many times is this now?"

After Aj had finished his pizza, ge got up from the sidewalk edge and walked over to the nearby garbage can to throw away the plastic plate he was given. Dusting off his bottom, he turned and decided to head back home. At the moment, it was the only place he could be bothered to go, since there wasn't anything else happening for the moment.

"Walking through a bustling city... Meeting some of the police force... Fighting giant bats... Seeing superheroes... And a guy who found out his boss knew more than he let on... What a day, Aj. Can't wait to see what happens next time." he spoke to himself, as he walked down the street. Waiting for the light to turn red, he crossed the street when it did.

"Those Kaijin... I'll make them pay for trying to disturb the peace in this city... Hah... Maybe it's a pipe dream for me to be strong enough to take them on... I should be leaving that kind of work to the Riders, but I want to be strong too, dammit! Why do i have to take a backseat and watch them fight all of the monsters?" he muttered, as he punched a nearby wall.

"I'll get stronger eventually... I know it." he finished, before flicking his wrist and continuing on.

"It has its good times and bad." Motoko replied before briefly pausing to finish off her ramen. "But I love my job, it's just rewarding to make a difference in people's lives."

She handed her bowl to the cook and sat back to stretch. "Mmm...I forgot how good late night ramen could taste."

"Okay~! We get you soon

"Thank you," She said simply, resting her hands neatly on her lap. Jahnavi turned her head to the side, watching out for her surroundings just in case. The people at the front desk confiscated her scimitar upon arrival, which was totally embarrassing. She felt a little uncomfortable without it, seeing as she was used to carrying it everywhere she went.

"This place is great. It might seem kind of weird with all the forced English, but the food is amazing and the show is even better."

"It's fine," She replied, watching the show for a second before turning her eyes onto the menu. At first she was worried about food being on the menu that she couldn't eat, but thankfully most of the dishes were pretty 'safe'. She was grateful that he hadn't taken her to a steakhouse, that would've been very awkward. "I'll take your word on it. It does have a rather, 'homey' feel to it."

Just then her tea had arrived.

"Oh, and order whatever you'd like. Don't hold back at my expense."

"Thanks," Jahnavi replied simply, taking a small sip of her tea. Clearing her throat a bit, she added, "I don't have much, but I believe in repaying all favors, so I'll repay you someday....somehow."
