Ran doffed her helmet before replying - the muffling wouldn't do her any good. She ran her hands through her hair, arranging it, before replying. "I'm sorry," she said. "I was... Preoccupied."

Before her anego could reply, the one girl with mid-length black hair named Saya yelled out, "Hey, that's the giant girl!"

Glancing over her shoulder at Saya with a frown, "Anego" shook her head. As she turned back to the biker chick, she noticed that one guy staring at her like she was the only thing he could see on the street beforer he headed indoors to the noodle house. She repressed a smile; she'd have to talk with him after this. Another admirer was always fun.

"As you can see, Saya over there seems to know you. Told us all a bit about you, including how you failed your college entrance exams. Funny how she never bothered to find out your name."

"Hououji," Ran replied. "Hououji Ran. And as for the exams, I don't think they're really something worth worrying too much about." She shrugged. "Who're you?"

A brief scowl flashed across her face at the name "Ran." Ignoring it, the green-haired girl held out her hand.

"We think alike... Hououji. I failed the exams as well, and have the same opinion about them. Li Maocao."

As she waited for the other girl to return the handshake, Mao suddenly said, "Hey, you busy now? I was thinking of getting something to eat, wanna join?"

Ran looked at her watch - She was getting off soon anyway, and if she was going to quit... She shrugged again. "Sure, why not? I haven't gott any better plans..."

"Hey Ryuji, what kind of ramen do you want? Oh! My bowl of beef ramen's ready!"
Ryuhou said as a steaming bowl of beef ramen was placed in front of him. He smiled and got out a pair of chopsticks. "I've always loved beef ramen, how about you?"

I wonder how mother and father are doing. I haven't had their cooking in so a long time. Maybe I should give them call. Ah, it's rude to look like I'm lost in thought. Might as well enjoy my bowl of ramen.

"I'd like whichever dish you have with wonton in it," he said to the server. "Oh, and add some egg on top," he finished handing the menu back. "Thak you very much.

"I've always loved beef ramen, how about you?"

"I like seafodod myself, but pork is good too," he said, feeling slightly uncomfortable.

"How many times is this now?"

After a long walk back to his apartment building, Aj pulled his key out of his pocket and entered his apartment, which was just a bit messy. Having to work with the military often, he couldn't really find time to clean his apartment. Setting his overcoat on the rack, he walked into the nearby kitchen and peeked into the minifridge, pulling out a bottle of sunkist. He then opened the oven and pulled out a box of leftover pizza from last night, to which he took a slice of.

"As long as it hasn't been sitting out all night without some source of heat, it's still edible, right? A little round in the oven should make it nice and devourable." he said, as he placed the slice of pizza onto a sheet of aluminum foil, before putting it into the oven. Setting it to a few minutes, he pulled a cup out of his dishrack, before pouring some sunkist inside. He then turned to the oven, as it finished heating the pizza. He walked over and took the pizza out of the oven, before walking to his living room.

"Ah... No place like home, they always say." he said, as he took a seat on the floor and set his pizza and cup of sunkist down.

Having finished their business in the cafeteria, Shuji and the henchmen left there, with the purpose of giving Shuji a bit of a tour.

"So, after the cafeteria, it's mostly just offices and such."

"I see." Shuji looked around. "Is there any particular reason why the hallways are poorly lit?"

"To give it a more ominous feel. You get used to it after a while."

"I know have."

"I see... so where are we going now?"

"Downstairs, to the gym and the recreation room."

"Ah."

Mikael stirred, rose, and went back to unpacking and making the tiny room into something more like a home. Taking a look around, he surveyed the room to get a better feel for his accomodations.

There were three doors in the room, one which led to the exterior concrete paved hallway, another which led to the small bathroom which house a toilet and a shower stall barely large enough for him to get in and turn around in, and a set of sliding doors that opened to reveal a surprisingly large and roomy closet built into the wall.

Mikael showered up, changed his clothes, and began to explore his "kitchen" which was really more like a tiny refrigerator, a few cabinets, and a stovetop with only two burners and a cramped oven, with a double-basin sink. No dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, or food processor. He would just have to rough it.

Yawning, Mikael stretched his arms out, fingertips brushing the ceiling with ease, before he strapped on his riding boots and grabbed his helmet before dashing out the door and engaging every lock on it, both deadbolts and the doorknob.

Getting onto his motorcycle Mikael checked his watch, realized it was still set on Pacific Time, and made a note to adjust it to local time ASAP. Kicking the stand up, he turned the key, started the engine, and revved it up a few times before rolling off in search of food and supplies for his new home, all the while Mikael attempted to hum a few bars to some catchy music he had heard earlier wafting out the window of a much larger, much nicer home in an elite neighborhood someplace.

"Those are also good ones. So how'd you get in the delivery field?"

"Yeah, I know what you mean. I work for a large corporation myself." Ryuhou remarked as he wolfed down some ramen noodles. "Where do you go to school anyway?"

Down in the gym, Shuji was getting a crash course in what the Shadowy Organization offered to keep their employees in shape.

"So we have excercise bikes, treadmills, weights sets of a dizzying variety, and of course a stairmaster."

"A...stairmaster? Why?" Shuji stared at the thing.

"It was free."

"Oh."

"If you need help staying in shape, you will find in the office over there a list of training regiments that you can do to fight off the pounds."

"Moving on..."

They head over to the recreation room, which was filled with all kinds of stuff.

"We got TV, we got some cards if you're into that kind of thing, we have board games and word puzzles too."

"That's quite nice." Shuji picked a magazine. "Rather comfortable too."

"That it is, that it is. Come on, we got more to show you."

"Ok."

With that, they marched on.

"I've never heard of them," Ryuji said.

"Oh, they're a new company that recently started up and they're based in downtown Tokyo. I had to go there earlier today, which was why I accidentally knocked you over. There was an emergency there and I had to get there immeditatedly."

"I thought you said you had a family emergency?" Ryuji asked, as a tone of suspicion creeped into his voice.

"I thought you said you had a family emergency?" Ryuji asked, as a tone of suspicion creeped into his voice.

"You're right, I did say that. I didn't have time to explain everything, and the emergency at work was pretty important that I had to get there fast as possible. I apologize for misleading you. Want another bowl of ramen?"

"Wait a minute? So you willingly lied to me?"

"Actually I didn't. I consider the people who work at there part of my family, so I was techincally speaking the truth. Besides there wasn't enough time to explain everything."
