Not bad. It could have been worse, I guess.

Im actually shocked that SRT has been getting actually positive reviews! Gamespy is one of the better reviews of it that i've seen in a while. Love how that reviewer loves the Revolver Stake

Here's the thing, how good is SRW as a game if you're not a fanboy?

Apparently, pretty good, although fanboys would obviously give the game a higher score- 4 or 4.5.

The review and preview both seem pretty on the mark.

Can't wait to play it. Never played through the JP OG, just OG2.

An interview at RPGamer with Atlus, btw.

I really like how the Atlus rep seems to really be into what he's promoting.

Atlus has always been a very good company. They just suck at releasing enough copies to satisfy. Hopefully with SRW OG, though, they'll change that and give us a chance to show them that we want Alpha in America.

I like the fact that apparently the staff is as interested in grabbing the Alpha series as we are in getting it, and that they would even consider it if enough copies of OG/OG2 sold in the US. Which seriously does make me want to go buy multiple copies of the same game simply on the off-chance that it could happen.

Also, the fact that the interviewee has an AC figure guarding his cubicle is win.

Anime fans and RPG fans will "wuv" it.

Awesome. Pure awesome.

This really gives me hope that Atlus might be willing to bring out OGS if they see good enough sales on these two. And I was especially interested in the fact that it was BANPRESTO who started the negotiations.

I can't really say I'm surprised. Banpresto seems amazingly mindful of its presence in the western hemisphere. Not to mention, Atlus has apparently helped them jump-start one of their series (Magna Carta), so I can't be too shocked to see them using the same approach on another series.

No, what's amazing is that they weren't trying to push their licensed games (or so I'm gathering). It shows a lot more thought than the average corporation.

They'd know enough to know that the liscenced stuff would be more trouble than it's worth over here.

Well, I got my new EGM today.

Much like the Game Informer 'review', EGM's spot for OG was a small one placed at the end of the review section. Nonetheless, what little was said was pretty much entirely positive. Saying the game is a bit boring at times among all the menus, but increadibly deep otherwise. :D

Yeah - hopefully we'll get a full review next issue.

And not from Seanbaby.
