I vote for Carnage. As long as it's rated R. I don't want to see Venom again unless he's like the comics. Mysterio or Hobgoblin can have a 5 min scene at the start of the movie where Spider-Man pwns them. Thats it. Electro > Shocker. Lizard and Scorpion would be redundant. Both have tails. There's Rhino. He's not Spidey exclusive and he'll remind people of Juggernaut. There's Kingpin. Who first started as a Spidey villain and now wants him dead in the comics. Come to think of it. I would love to see a Marvel Knights movie. Spidey, Luke Cage, Daredevil, Iron Fist vs Kingpin, Bullseye, The Hand and Elektra fucking with everyone. |

A Marvel Knights movie'd be cool. I actually think Venom IS gone, simply cuz' Sam Raimi was never too keen on the whole character in the first place. He wouldn't even DO Venom until one of his own guys convinced him he could do give him some serious complexity based off what happened in the comic books...which is ironic since Brock wasn't terribly complex in the movie: ambitious, somewhat shallow guy who was deliberately amoral (points to judgement call scene) because it let him get ahead, who hates Peter for ruining his life by calling him on his amorality. I'd love to see Shocker appear in a similar manner as he does in Ultimate Spidey: as the two-bit thug with wifty toys that TRIES to be a supervillian, but always ges pwned by Spidey in about 2 seconds. Mysterio can only appear if Bruce Campbell gets to be Beck. I refuse to accept the character any other way now. XD |

Carnage needs to be in one of the movies at some point. I can see a movie being made with the Hobgoblin as well. I’m not sure which of the 5 it would be though. You can also throw in the return of the original Green Goblin as well. I can see a movie being made about the Rose III vs. Black Tarantula because you can fit in a bunch of random Spider-Man villains without to much worry, but does anyone even care about the Rose or Black Tarantula? Kraven the Hunter and Chameleon might work together, but it would be a lot to fit into one movie. This movie could also have Vermin in it. There can also be a movie about Mysterio and Jack O’Lantren. The Jackal and everything involved with him (minus Ben Reilly and a possible cameo by Carrion II in the Carnage movie) needs to stay the hell away from the big screen. You can have a simple movie about a bounty being placed on Spider-Man and have a bunch of random villains appear. The Scorpion and the Punisher would be perfect for this movie. A movie with Morbius and Morlun might be possible as well. Spot, Grizzly, The Gibbon, and The Kangaroo could make for a funny movie... |

I think part of what makes Shocker special is that he...well...ISN'T a super-villain. He's a regular crook with special gadgets and he knows it. He doesn't pull a lot of the dumb mistakes supervillains usually do, and he doesn't delude himself into thinking he's anything more. Ironically, it's made him one of the most relatively successful members of Peter's rogues gallery. Lowe: Same here about Mysterio. XD And I'd love to see other characters show up, but that's not too likely. After all, they WANTED to get Thomas Jane to cameo in Spider-Man 2, but it didn't work out because of varying reasons. The best they could do was to get his stunt-double from Punisher (watch the scene where Mary Jane runs out of the wedding; he's the man in black she passes by, and he IS intended to be the Punisher and not just some random guy). |

Not to take the discussion off course, but what was the purpose of having Frank Castle at MJ's wedding with John Jameson? |

He wasn't at the wedding per se; MJ just ran past him as she was running through the park on her way to find Peter. |

Mega-massive bump from beyond the grave... Anyway, I had an idea that I think could work in a potential sequel. Lemme know how it sounds. Basically, the whole focus of the movie would be the Spider-Slayers and the various attempts by people to take Spidey out. We could use Smythe's robots, but the big thing I had in mind was...dun-dun-DUUUUUUN! Scorpion! Imagine this: After learning that Peter was Spiderman, Norman started trying to find out how. Eventually he figured out that it was the spider bite, and tries to recreate it. This information falls into the hands of whoever takes over Oscorp now that Harry's dead. When JJJ puts out the call for people to defeat Spidey, that person uses this info to create the Scorpion by having Gargan get stung by a re-engineered scorpion. In this version of events, Gargan would be a crook offered a chance at pardon for bringing in Spidey (plus maybe they'd dangle the idea of him becoming New York's new hero afterwards). He goes for it, but things go bad when he gets the suit. You see, I realized that since Oscorp sponsored Doc Ock, they have the schematics for his tentacle arms. Therefore, someone could easily weaponize them. But then we have the whole AI thing that affected Ock. The only question is, would it be an accident caused by poor understanding of the technology, or an intentional act to keep Gargan frothing mad and out for Peter's blood? |

That'd be fun... and give an excuse to bring the Punisher back into a Marvel movie, seeing as how they are going for the combined worlds thing now. He did start as a Spidey villain, after all. |

Blame the BUMP for this, but ^that could turn it into a whole other genre XD --- heheh, okay, childishness aside, it Amuro's idea does have merit... I mean, the movies have already spun a different continuity, so I think they could make it fit. I say go with the "out for Peter's blood" path. And The Punisher would make any Spidey movie more bearable for me :P |

Bringing this to 2009. :P This could work, without the 6 arms. And as long as no eyeballs are swallowed. http://io9.com/5127831/is-this-how-the-spi...deem-themselves |

-_- oh Shin... Alas my faith in these movies has sunk and I am more than content if they don't even bother touching it again... but then the lure of monies will never keep them away for that long now, will it? Ah well... not like I was really ever interested to begin with :P |
