I see. Thanks Amuro. I will still answer Hobbes’s question as though I didn’t read this though.
The reason that I’m unsure of that title is because of the fact that only one word in the whole title isn’t translated. It looks off to me. It seems odd because it is better known as Super Robot Wars. I also get the feeling that this may just be a marketing ploy. I think Atlus is going for the “hey look, it’s from Japan” feel with that title. That may or may not be a good or bad thing. Having Taisen instead of Wars may reduce the appeal of the game to the average audience because Wars is straight forward and represents the game well, while Taisen will not be understandable to anyone who doesn’t speak the language. Odds are the people that speak the language have already heard of the game. |

So, if I gather this correctly, I'm unleashing nerd fury because you stirred the shit again? If so, aren't you running away from said nerd? What does that make you, the whipping boy of the internet? Or perhaps the phail-me-hard little squirt who likes to brag about his e-penis, then run crying to his mommy after being smacked in the face? |

Actually, none of the words in the title are translated: The rest were in English in Japan... |

Well, to be fair, the games also had "SUPER ROBOT WARS" printed on the side in big bold English letters. Or at least @G did. |

The topic stopped moving on the 7th. Hobbes posted some news. Homes I don't give a damn about. Your next post was on the 21st, ie today, clearly an offensive post directed at me. If that's not stirring up shit again, I don't know what is. |

Oh, you're such a saucy whore. I only visisted because the ever so lovely Homes let me know of your response! Granted, I needed to pull out my translator to read what you typed. "Idiot" is a tough language to master, but you got it down! Reach for the stars! |

Oh, feisty. So you're responding so you can show Homes how big your e-penis is? Good for you, you're now one of the 99.99% of the "retarded horny males" on the Internet. And if you need a translator for the English language, I take it you live in some third world shit hole. How's the food there? I hope we can send you some relief aid soon, because you're getting more and more retarded by the second. |

Haha, funny. You must be the new comedian of the year. /sarcasm If you're going to just sink to the level of "yo mama" insults, I don't see the point of continuing this farce. Then again, talking to you in the first place is a waste of time. |

Thanks for the tag. I wasn't sure if it was sarcasm due to your razor sharp wit. Want to talk about e-penis' some more? It sounds like that's a subject dear to your heart. |

Given how I've only mentioned it twice about you, it's not really so much a subject dear to me as a fault within you. Of course, I'm afraid of cutting your wirsts with my razor wit - I wouldn't want to be arrested for being accomplice to an emo commiting suicide. |

That's sounds true, but it's worth noting that the average gamer won't really care about the name of a game, as long as the game itself is good. For example: Dance Dance Revolution and Katamari Damacy. As for the name being used for marketing purposes, I can believe that. Atlus has always come off as a company that doesn't change much when when they bring the titles over, in an effort to appeal to "Japanophiles". Why else release a game with the title "Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne"? All this is moot though, thanks to Amuro's revelation. |

I've been meaning to try some of the SMT titles on the PS2, honestly. The last game I played in that franchise was Persona 2. |

Yeah, I only posted my response because I had already written it before I saw Amuro’s post. >_>
I’ve tried so hard to find a new copy of that game or any of the SMT games, but they don’t seem to exist. I started to look for DDS only 7 months after its original release. |

Yes you should. I’ve seen a few used copies of the game, but they were in poor shape and between 30 and 40 dollars. They weren’t worth it. |
