for my understanding, for it to work, got 2 and more possibilty. 1. the light on the dash is somehow connect serially with the brake lamp. its like +ve == dash lamp == brake lamp == gnd so when one of the lamp broke, the dash light also wont work, cause the circuit wont complete anymore. (but it have to detect both side. so i guess its '2 stage' one.. like when one of my brake lamp broke, the light just blink and wont lit.. maybe when it blink its because the complete circuit of the working lamp) 2. use a relay inside the circuit to the brake lamp +ve == 2 relays == brake lamp == gnd +ve ==(relay above)== dash lamp == gnd well also same thing.. when one of the thing broke, than one of the relay wont activate, so when relay wont activate, than the dash lamp wont lit. 3. use transistor as switch there is one circuit that use transistor as a switch one but i forgot how to draw.. |
