hi all
last may i bleed my brake fluid, and replace with dot4 fluid.
the mechanic pour the thing until the level is higher than the max.

than yesterday i only realize,
the brake fluid is actually lower than 'low' already

actually i dono which is for which.

there r 2 container there..
the one more close to the firewall still at medium level
the one future from firewall already very low already

is it both also for brake?

the thing decrease in 8 months from max to minimum level, is it normal? (first time i use dot4.. i heard it will absorb water and vapour or something)

for 8 months it is normal la... newer cars also every 2 months got to check the brake fliud level la.

both is for brakes... one for front, one for rear... both dot3 or 4 and even 5 absorbs water. it's made like that to prevent corossion in the brake pump. but once too much water is absorbed, the water will turned into steam and causes problems such as brake lockup during heavy braking especially going downhill. it's not tyre lockup.. but the brake won't release even when you let go the brake paddle.

that is why it is recommended to fluch the brake fluid once a year

Please do check your rear brakes.
Open up the hub cap, and look for signs for leaks.

The piston washer might have worn out. Same goes to the front calipers.
I face this problem annually. Either one will give way. Dont know about yours..
