i think all the equiptment i have liau...
the balancing stuff slowly la...
i dont think...
should i say...confidently...
many of our local mechanic doesnt really know how to mod car...
those wiring...
although i also get confuse with it...
but they seems to be having same problem too...
if u ask sumthing more technical on them...
they will ignore u...

just pump petrol and go....summore a12 engine really built for 'lebih kilometer' ^_^

I think theres a lot of things you can do, if you willing

- Convert to fuel injection.
- Turbocharge / supercharge
- internal upgrades
- Dry sump :P
- etc etc etc. :P

Yup, thats the way kodiak...

Its a challenge...build ur own f*ckin engine rather that getting a half cut and putting it in...even that will be done by ur formen...u dont need to dirty ur hands at all. Where will u learn anything??

Open up ur hood. Conquer one by one, intake, exhaust, spark, engine, drivetrain.

Intake - Air ram, Open pod filters, CAI, polished intake

Exhaust - experiment by using best piping and position of muffler...4-1 header or 4-2-1...wrap the piping

Spark - coil, cables, distributor

Engine - Flat top pistons, high cam, balanced engine, ported heads, weber 32/36 ( for A12 )...or use low comp pistons for turbocharged ( use the IHI Impreza turbo )

Drivetrain - Racing clutch, lsd excel...

Doing all this can generate at least 110hp on wheel for A12. Of course the cost will be high, but take ur time lerr...do one by one...Think u have alot of money...get the Nismo Datsun parts from Japan. Im finding out abt it at the moment....

i always wonder...which is better in terms of power n FC...

Twin Hitachi SU carbs or Weber 32/36?? both also produce a good sucking sounds....

both also have the same market price...but surely weber is more glamour than twin SU carb..

S.U has better FC. S.U is more powerful.
Weber 32/36 can be as powerful as S.U, provided the primary jets are changed to a bigger one. But, FC will get worse la.

S.U. harder to tune. Once tuned, it will be perfect for power and FC...

Bingo.... I guess its still up to individiuals. U just want something that goes fast with the least hastle and time wastage, then transplant, if wanna learn something out of it, then need to experiment :)

la...tau la..i doesnt mean that high power engine low on FC... what i want is to know which is better for every drop of my petrol..i dont mind of da FC if its utilized to da max... every carb must be tune perfectly or it juz sucking more fuel without optimum power output..n dats is wasting.. how to tell that ur car burns fuel efficiently? ezy..juz by looking at da exhaust...any black smoke? if yes then ur car not burning fuel effectively....hahaha! i know mine is not right now... :P
