JDM - Japan Domestic Market...

inother words.. made in japan for japanese consumers... (better quality)

for example...

Malaysian made Vanette GB... durability is about 5-6years
JDM Vanette GB... durability at least 8 years. some used more than 10 years also no problem.

the difference is from the material they used... our cast metals are lower quality of japans.

same goes with other products. try those playstation's joypads. local cheapo mades feels lower quality and spoil easily... while original japan (that comes with the box) lasts me more than 10 years now.

hard to say... but normally comes with "made in japan" sign... you can only get JDM parts from chop shop that imports from japan. you can't get JDM parts from thailand or other places.
