i bet u all heard of the recent floods in melaka and johor my car wasnt spared of it either... on friday night i travelled down town from bukit beruang to lower ground areas at hang tuah area there....that place was horribly flooded altho there was no rain at all...and the road leading to old bas station in hang tuah was heavily flooded(but normal cars still can go thru)...no alternative non flooded roads so i kinda drove my car thru a long stretch of flooded road...and can hear my engine squeak a few times when driving thru the floods.. and so after 2 dry days, the car engine is squeaking like hell...seems like every belting is squeaking and 'chak-chak-chak' and 'klak-klak-klak' sound can be heard from the engine!! i cant even detect which belt is sounding coz all the belts is noisy! <_< argh...so how now? any tips? car is running smoothly but engine is noisy <_< |

according to my dad the alternator is overworking...haha...mabe bcoz its too small.....that day my hometown LE change its alternator to a new mitsubishi pajero's and the alternator really looked huge too...but the car is way more powerful and responsive...say when the a/c kicks in...no slight rpm drop and feel at all...but kenot compare with datsun la...LE got aircond idler. |
