how much would such cap set me back and where would i get such cap? me after doing up car, realised i need to fill my radiator quite often since nowdays i always on aircon.. a trip from KL - kajang - cyber. must refill and temp naik as well. i realised the rubber grip on my cap, thinning and maybe its time to change. suggestions ? |

whoa...KL-kajang-cyber nie nid to refill? but for temp to naik after driving at constant speeds around above 120kmh for quite a distance is normal and depending on the weather outside also la... but i suspect ur radiator is not in a good shape already coz always nid to refill....check for leaks and check ur water pump as well...see got leak or not... even when my water pump was spoilt, the water din drain up dramatically also...but 1 sign is the radiator water inside is very very rusty and u will see ur car will drip water at 2 places...instead of only 1 which is the aircond after fix my waterpump, i think i havent been refilling my radiator since like 6 months ago, summore with few outstation trips to kl and cyber....and the water inside still like new...totally no rust stains and level is always the same |

all cars have water pump to circulate the water in the car for heat transfer... there is no such thing as performance radiator cap... just the pressure tolerence difference. on normal radiator, if you put higher pressure cap, it'll increase the boiling temp, but at the same time, it'll carck your radiator if your radiator is already old. those cap can only be use on racing radiator that meant for those pressure rating. |

larger radiator?
 stock 120y radiator is like 1 of the largest radiators around already compared to other cars
^_^ so yours must be from a huge car  all cars got water pump...and any loss of water with frequent topups shows that the radiator is not normal ledi even tho your radiator is as big as 1 big baldi ... |

Head gasket bocor also will cause water to leak from block-head passage, into the combustion chamber & thru exhaust... |
