use AE86 for rear... got LSD options too... but need modding. if not use hilux rear... also got lsd.. but heavier

hehe..since u all heavy modification project,my project will be restoring me 120y to near mint condition ^_^ , besides modernizing it B)

before,
-superstock 120y white colour with rust all over body
-a12 engine that had been well used..overhauled with some funny carb (not hitachi DCG306)
-old old ICE...got a full set ICE consist of pioneer 3 way speakers, cassette player, tweeter, equalizer,amp....but due to aging liao bunyi also pecah ledi.
- got 1 pair of huge pop out bumper protector on front n rear bumpers.
-bloody noisy axle! :angry:

now,*updated*
-repainted white with darkened window frames(rasa JDM) + taken out bumper protector
-a12 overhauled again for 2nd time
-new hitachi DCG306 carbie
-taiwan digital radio cassette(all ICE stuffs taken out except the rear pioneer speakers) n rewired digital radio cassette to original TEN am radio speakers in front..kinda cool..hehe..3 speakers..kakaka
- new seat covers..repad drivers seat
- added autogauge rpm meter
- added central locking
- still got bloody noisy axle <_<

future plans(and some coming soon),
- new axle(secondhand)
- electonic dizzy
- new pioneer single disc + JBL 3 way speakers
- alarm
- extra engine fan
- aircond idler(actuator)
- 13' deepdish(mangkuk) rims
- rear numberplate light change to like big bumper 120y's

wah ficxky, your car got very interesting past. What happened to the CA18 gear?

mine,

past

-Stock A12
-Unknown Carb (I think its a A15 carb)
-Electronic ignition
-Blue color paint
-stock silver color rims
-Rust patches
-Screwed drive shaft

Current

-Stock A12
-Replaced coil with suitable coil and rewired ignition
-Changed carb to DCH306 (Still got leaky problem <_< )
-Body welded
-DIY paint job ( its a wierd black brown pearl color) hahah
-Rims painted black


Future

-Reworked A12 Head
-Turbo
-Still thinking if wanna change to A15
-Would love to go for a CA18DET, but dont want to worry about JPJ
-New exhaust system
-New carpet
-Sound system
-Rims :wub:
-Duck Tail spoiler

-Proton Wira 1.5 brake Master pump

**80% of modification was DIY ( had alot of free time )


Future

-To avoid JPJ hassle, planning to maintain same A15
-Full race spec A15 ( 10k++ rpm engine )..still workin on configuration

-S13 X-member, arm & suspension
-AE86 rear suspension & axle


Performance

-0-100 = abt 13 sec
-Top Speed = abt 165

The BEST thing - Fuel consump - RM10 = 90-100km ( Highway )

I did this Wira absorber thing about 5 yrs back, i dont really remember how's the method, but im sure that the absorber housing is the same. The formen changed the inside batang to Wira's one, together with harder spring.

My Recommendation : Dont use this stupid combination. Doesn't last long, now its quite bad. Im planning to change, but no idea what to use. Anybody has a nice set-up ???

timber wolfe from DCM uses S13 struts... still haven't receive feedbacks from him
