i read in the owners manual, the recomended octane is ron88. now im using ron97. if i downgrade to ron92, what will happen to the car? lose more power? or engine will start to ping? or fc will b higher?

stock engine no problem... you'll see better FC too... but need to check your timing in case already tuned for high octane like mine. STD timing is 7 degrees advance on idle... mine idle already 22 degrees.

i tried using it bout few months back. so far didnt see ne problem. just that the fuel smell was a lil too strong. now switch back to ron 97.

RON = Research Octane Number
MON = Motor Octane Number

Fuel Octane = (RON+MON)/2

RON is just the combustibility (how fast the fuel burn) under normal ideal condition.

MON is the combustibility of the fuel under high pressure (engine cyclinder)
