How to modify for 200kmh on my 120Y??

you'll need to run at least 6500rpm on datsun origianl 5speed GB to have 200kmh.

but A14 max HP at 6400 and A15 max Hp at 5200, you'll need lots of head work to get there. Also original 60A gearbox only can withstand 98lb of torque (A15 torque), thus turbo charging it might damage the gearbox.

you'll need to source out a 63A gearbox or a dogleg (ficxky's GB). commonly 63A is nade from materials of datsun Z's GB or 200sx gb.

minimum tyre size you'll need is 15". 13" highest rating tyre only runs at 180kmh.

best advise is to change engine and do lots of chassis strengthening, but with the total money invested, it is better to buy a second hand or third hand R32, or other sport cars.

that is why I want to use Toyota KE for daily & another car for family :P

orignal is 3.5:1 or something?
change to lower one..
sure u can get to 200kph
slow.. but sure to get there..

but u need a really really really long stretch of road.

one of dcm (drift.com.my) members on his 120Y project.
it will be drift car for drift event,
zyfull knows more.

120Y already light, you can go for SR20DE .. save your pocket somemore

rm2.5k for the halcut ... + labour bla bla bla around rm2k
depends on your mech / workshop :)

about rear ? i'm not sure bout that :)
try ask zyfull..

earlier silvia such as s12 or skyline R30 or old 200sx is possible... newer ones are wider so tak ngam. all axle require mod to the absorber mountings to fit.

people in OZ are using Hilux rear axle... dono malaysia possible or not
