fuel level needle

sigh...
very strange....

now it is at the bottom most line,
sometimes (like making some turns), it will goes up to 1 notch
sometimes (like making turns), it will goes down to below the bottom most line...

last week i pump RM20
while the needle sit at bottom line (and not below)
only goes up 1 notch.. :(
(so suppose to hold... Rm80? )



but if i pump RM50 like normal..
it will goes up to full one....

very strange..


how is your jarum ?
got same problem aslo?

i think its normal gua...sam..try see the indicator again at level ground..thats the correct reading. mus make sure its totally level...abit slant to the left for mine it will drop 1 notch no matter wad...dammit~

i owes pump petrol when inside still got 1/4 left. if u pump when really empty will damage ur fuel pump so i heard :)

fuel needle is not accurate at it measure the "float" level in the tank. to compensate the real volume level, there is a difference in the how the level is indicated via a potentiometer in the fuel tank itself.

the best is use your trip meter. pump full tank, refill every 380-400km.

mine too .. its easy .. if you corner to turn right .. sure the fuel drop 1 .. later you turn left sure up 1 .. try on corner .. sure can .. then you feel happy ... last time i pump full tank rm73 ..
then onli use it for 3-4 days .. normal way to kl from selayang and back to selayang from kl .. mader ...

the level meter is on the rightside... if your open the boot, you can see a cover on top right of the spare tyre well. that is the cover for the meter

yeap need skrew driver to ketuk the chain clockwise to open it .. i mean the 'pelampung minyak' thinggy .. later got wire and you can replace it very easy .. last time i tot so susah one ..haha last time changed oledi .. around rm35
